The start is at the town hall car park. The main markings to follow are the yellow ones, often indicated by small arrow-shaped signs (at the start, the route merges with the Blue trail until point (3) and you will also find markings for mountain bike routes 10 and 11).
(S/E) Head back towards the village centre as you leave the car park, turning left onto Rue Principale (D34), heading north-west. Take the first street on the left to reach the church, continue straight on along Rue Jules Ferry then left onto Rue de la Bruere.
(1) Continue straight on at the cross, along the small road, leaving the path on your left. At the next junction, continue straight on towards Villebon. The small road descends towards a small stream and a private pond, then climbs back up through the woodland.
(2) Leave the country lane straight ahead leading to Villebon by turning right. The path then becomes grassy and climbs through the woods to cultivated fields before emerging onto the D34. Cross it and continue straight on through the houses in the hamlet of La Barderie.
(3) At the next crossroads, turn left north-west onto the track.
(4) At the hamlet of Couffy, join a small road on your right. Pass through Les Croslins and continue along the small road until you reach the junction with the D37. Turn right and continue for about 100m.
(5) Turn left onto the small road leading to the Métairie Neuve dairy farm. Cross the farmyard, then at a right-hand bend, continue along a track.
(6) At a private pond, take the path on the left which climbs across the field.
(7) Turn right to join the D37a.
(8) Follow it to the left and head towards the hamlet of Les Roquillets.
(9) Take the small road on the right, then, when you reach the Sainte-Marie farm, continue straight ahead along the path.
(10) At the next crossroads, turn right across the field and follow the path alongside the woods.
(11) Turn slightly right at the next junction, then continue straight on until you reach the D37. Take this road to the left to head back down towards Rouvres-les-Bois. Turn left into Rue Principale.
(12) Turn left onto Rue de La Fontaine. This leads you to an old wash house and then to the village pond.
(13) Turn right into the car park, then walk along the right-hand side of the pond until you reach a picnic area. Take the track on the right to head back up to Rue Principale. Turn left to return to the town hall (S/E).
, the route is lovely and perfectly maintained.
