Park in the car park for this circular (hiking information sign) in a bend just before the Coche reservoir.
(S/E) Cross the road and take the path opposite the car park that descends (start sign) to the first intersection.
(1) Take the path on the right that climbs through a beautiful forest and follow it to the intersection with the track. Along the way, you will find two well-equipped lookout points with orientation tables.
(2) Turn left (towards Pointe du Cuchet and Lachat) and continue climbing the track until you reach the path leading to Pointe du Cuchet.
variation: for the less athletic, continue the hike without climbing this small rocky massif
(3) Turn right (towards Pointe du Cuchet) onto the well-marked path that leads to a lovely viewpoint at the summit.
(4) At the summit, you will find two orientation tables and a well-equipped area. In a small wooden box (you can write a few words in a small notebook to leave your impressions).
Return to the bottom of Pointe du Cuchet on the same path to find the sign.

(3) Continue to the right towards Plan Lachat. Take the forest track to reach the beautiful Plan Lachat plateau and its small refuge (picnic tables and barbecue available).
(5) To the right of the chalet, continue along the path until you reach a sign (1560m). Follow "Retenue de la Coche". Then descend through the forest towards the Col de la Coche and the reservoir (more picnic tables). Follow the road for a few minutes to return to the car park (S/E).
