(S/E) Starting from the town hall in Feissons-sur-Salins, head towards the village church. The road makes a sharp left turn. Continue straight ahead until you reach a crossroads. Take the left-hand path that climbs up and runs alongside a chapel. Continue straight ahead until you reach another crossroads and continue climbing.
(1) The path turns right and continues climbing through the forest until it joins another, wider path.
(2) Leave the path that goes straight ahead and follow the forest path to the left. Pass under some electric cables and leave a path on the left at a hairpin bend to the right and a second one a few metres further on.
The stony forest road leaves the fir trees and continues to climb very gradually. On the right, there isa vast panorama towards Courchevel, dominated by the Dent du Villard. You will reach a crossroads (water point indicated). Do not be put off by the sign saying: Private road. Danger, and continue straight ahead. Join another path coming from the right.
(3) Turn left and begin the descent. At the second bend, make a detour to admire the pretty Notre-Dame de la Salette Chapel, which has been restored by the inhabitants of Feissons-sur-Salins. Retrace your steps and return to the forest road.
(4) Continue downhill, passing a path on your right to reach a flat area equipped with benches and tables, and follow the signs to a path that branches off to the right and leads to the Croix de Feissons, a beautiful viewpoint and orientation table.
(5) Retrace your steps. The path descends, meandering along the mountainside and offering sumptuous landscapes. Ignore the paths on the left and right to reach another path that heads to the left.
(6) Take this path, which follows the contour line, passes by a chalet and rejoins the crossroads you passed on the way up.
(1) Turn onto the path on the right to reach an asphalt road.
(7) Turn left onto Montée de la Salette, which, in this direction, descends steeply between pretty houses. Cross the road and continue down Montée du Cossaire. At the bottom of the descent, join the road and follow it to the left to reach the town hall (S/E).
