Circular Villaret loop via Doucy

Park at the Villaret car park.

(S/E) Follow the road towards Régniez.

(1) Take the road on the right between the houses, then turn right into the cul-de-sac. Once you reach the end of the tarmac, continue along the path which leads down to the old mill on the Morel.

(2) Turn left onto the path that runs alongside the stream and continue until you reach a junction.

(3) Carry on straight ahead to descend back to the Morel, cross it and head back up the opposite bank.

(4) Take the sharp right-hand bend towards Doucy, turn left at the three-way junction near the first houses and come out onto the D94 (Route du Patrimoine).

(5) Cross it and follow the lane opposite, then turn left onto the Route du Chaussy. Take the first path on the right and rejoin the D94. Cross it and immediately take the path on the left to reach a viewpoint overlooking Valmorel and the mountain range.

(6) Continue to the village of Raclaz until you come to the Chapelle Saint-Michel Archange. First turn left then right to go round it, pass the Musée d’Antan and carry on to the junction with the Impasse du Cruet.

(7) Turn onto the path on the left and continue in the same direction to return to the Régniez junction.

(1) Carry on straight ahead to return to the car park (S/E).
