Superb out-and-back coastal hike on the sentier du littoral between La Londe-les-Maures and Brégançon. Many beaches along the way.

A beautiful walk around the Saint-Mandrier peninsula. The coastal path takes you from the Pointe de Marégau to the beaches of La Coudoulière and Cavalas. Then discover the picturesque little port of Saint-Mandrier. The route ends with a return trip through the countryside. Some urban sections.

A very beautiful hike in the Calanques massif, exploring the wild Calanque de Podestat. Then the very touristy Calanque de Sormiou before finishing with the picturesque Calanque de Morgiou. A difficult hike with some exposed sections and even a few secured climbing sections.Start from the Baumettes neighbourhood (9th arrondissement), free parking at the end of the road (note: it fills up quickly, but you can easily park in the neighbourhood). You are in the Calanques National Park, which is subject to specific regulations. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in a fine of up to €1,500.

A beautiful circular hike starting from the hamlet of Novallay, climbing to the Crève-Tête (2313m).

A short family hike to discover a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Belleville Valley. There are two other beautiful viewpoints with orientation tables, as well as the Coche reservoir. This well-marked circular trail is a discovery trail dotted with information panels and quizzes on mountain flora and fauna. At the summit, you can enjoy two orientation tables and a well-equipped area, as well as a small notebook where you can leave a few words.

A beautiful loop on the trails of the Belleville Valley. Between mountain pastures, forests and ridges, you will discover magnificent panoramic views that unfold throughout the route. This hike is suitable for families with young hikers. There are numerous signs along the route to guide you.

A forest hike around Montagne de Chevran. At the summit, there is a beautiful viewpoint, and on the way back you’ll pass through the stunning Chevran mountain pastures. Please note that the climb is short but steep.

Hike starting from Les Arcs 2000. As this is a resort hike, there are unfortunately some man-made features, but I suggest the most unspoilt route possible. The first section follows a beautiful path (the ‘Sentier des Lacs’) to Lac des Moutons. Then there is a short but steep climb to Aiguille Grive (2,733m) and its magnificent view of Mont Blanc before heading back down.

A beautiful family hike starting from the Vars-les-Claux resort, taking you to the Col de l'Écuelle via the old Combe Froide rock glacier and then the very touristy Col de Vars. There are many variations on this hike, but I suggest the wildest route possible to avoid the human developments on the mountain.

A beautiful hike starting from the village of Sainte-Catherine. You will pass from one valley to another. Along the way, you will see a beautiful valley, numerous marmots and an interesting descent along the Chagnon torrent.

A very beautiful hike above the Calanches de Piana, climbing Capu d'Orto via Foce d'Orto. Please note that a large part of the route between the two peaks is off the marked trails and involves some easy climbing. Fortunately, there are numerous cairns to guide you. The climb to the summit from Foce d'Orto requires sure footing and good visibility. At the summit, there is a magnificent view of the entire Gulf of Porto.

Circular hike in the Bonifatu Forest starting from the inn (paid parking in season). Less frequented than the other routes. Shady forest trail, the view is often blocked by vegetation but there is a beautiful view at Bocca di Bonassa.

I suggest you discover the beautiful and uncrowded Lac du Chabarrou, at an altitude of 2,300 m. An interesting alternative to the very popular hike to the Oulettes de Gaube refuge. Access is challenging. Don't forget to admire the Pont d'Espagne (a very popular tourist site) before or after your hike.

A pleasant little summit easily accessible from the large car park at Col de Couraduque. Thefirst part to Col de Bazès is on easy forest tracks. However, thesecond part to the summit of Pic de Bazès is more technical. At the summit, there is a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

A beautiful hike that can be done with the family and children who are used to walking, starting from the well-known Port de Balès (altitude 1755 m) (Tour de France cycling race). The summit of Mont Né (altitude 2,147 metres) offers beautiful views of the central Pyrenees and the magnificent Lac de Bordères or Lac de Bareilles. From Pic du Lion (altitude 2,102 metres), there is a safe aerial path along the Crête de la Coume du Lion. The cromlech at Port de Pierrefite is also worth noting.
