The necropolis from Étang du Brochet

Start from the Étang du Brochet, Rue du 10 Mars.

(S/E) With your back to the car park, take the steps and go straight on to climb the slag heap. Turn left at the top of the steps.

(1) Turn right at the next flight of steps and begin the climb; once at the top, continue straight ahead.

(2) Turn right at the fork, then take the stairs on the left and go down a flight of stairs. Take two left-right turns to go down the four landings, then first turn right then left.

(3) At the bottom of the stairs, first turn left then right, then turn left and head towards (S/E).

(S/E) Turn left, at the end turn left, then follow the signs for Parc de la Galance; at the end, first turn left then right.

(4) Turn left, after the A21 bridge, continue straight on to reach Place Auguste Gallet.

(5) Turn right and continue straight on for about 1.5 km.

(6) Turn left onto Rue de Lille and continue straight on Rue de l’Eglise. At the end, take the road on the right and continue straight on Rue Sorriaux.

(7) Stop at the cemetery, then continue straight ahead, cross Rue Roger Salengro and head towards the opposite side.

(8) Turn left onto Rue du 8 Mai 1945, then take the first turn left then right, and keep to the right.

(9) Turn right at the junction, then keep to the right again.

(10) Take the second left at the junction and continue straight ahead.

(11) At the end of the road, first turn left then right, keep to the left, and at the end take Rue du Chevalier de la Barre on the right.

(12) Turn left onto the sloping path, cross the bridge over the A21, and further on make the first turn right then left. Continue to the roundabout.

(13) Take the second left onto Rue de Saverne. At the bend, first turn right then left and continue straight ahead.

(14) Cross the road, take the path on the left and continue straight on to reach the Étang du Brochet (S/E).
