The Necropolis of 10 March 1906 via the canal

Start at the Étang du Brochet, Rue du 10 Mars.

(S/E) From the car park, head towards the canal and follow it to the right as far as the bridge, without crossing it.

(1) After the bridge, turn sharply right, then immediately turn left, at right angles to the canal.

(2) At the junction, head straight ahead.

(3) At the crossroads, turn right to enter the housing estate. Turn right onto Rue de Colmar, follow it to the right, then turn left onto Rue de Mulhouse until you reach the junction.

(4) Cross the road, then turn right. At the end, first turn right then left, and carry on straight ahead until you reach the junction.

(5) Carry on to the left; at the junction, take the second right and carry on straight ahead.

(6) Go over the hill and continue left along the old railway line.

(7) Cross the road and carry on straight ahead until you reach Rue Roger Salengro. Cross it and carry on straight ahead.

(8) Turn left onto the Nécropole du 10 mars 1906 and carry on straight ahead along the Parcours des Rescapés to reach Rue Henri Barbusse.

(9) Turn left and continue to the roundabout. Carry on straight ahead, then turn left twice.

(7) At the end, turn right and follow the route you took on the way there in the opposite direction to reach the junction of Rue de Mulhouse and Rue de Strasbourg.

(4) Turn right onto Rue de Strasbourg, then at the roundabout, take the left-hand exit onto Rue de Saverne.

(3) As you round the bend, veer right, heading in the opposite direction to your outward journey, and return to the junction.

(2) Turn left and return to the starting point (S/E).
