Walk in the land of Facteur Cheval
This varied walk first winds along the Galaure river before climbing up the hill. It meanders through the woods before returning to the village of Hauterives, in front of the Palais Idéal. Read the practical information before setting off. There is a ford to cross. If you wish, you can shorten the route and do only a 7 km circular route.
In the footsteps of Facteur Cheval
This route takes you across fields, but very often on small tarmac roads, allowing you to discover what the environment of Facteur Cheval might have been like. Perhaps some parts of the route were even part of his daily rounds!
From the pear trees of Valloire to the Château du Double
You will cross the Valloire plain, surrounded by fields and orchards in Lens Lestang, until you reach the Priory of Manthes. Information boards tell you about mulberry and pear trees. Then you climb up to the Madone de Moras and return along a path well sheltered from the sun, along the moraine. On the way, you can admire the Château du Double.
From the Feytaux plateau to Terres Blanches
An easy walk on the moraines overlooking Lens Lestang.
You alternate between walking in the woods and in open country. On the way there, you can see the Pilat and Ardèche mountains and the Beaurepaire plain.
On the way back, as you turn around, you can admire the peaks of the Vercors, the Alps, the Chartreuse and Mont Blanc (weather permitting...).

This is the May Day hike with its sprigs of lily of the valley and beautiful views.
Les Hauts de Marcollin from Lens-Lestang
This route is very pleasant in summer due to the coolness of the undergrowth. In spring and autumn, it offers a diversity of colours and scents for our visual and olfactory enjoyment.
There are several points along the route where you can enjoy views of the Beaurepaire plain.

From Manthes to the Château du Double
An easy walk, ideal in spring when the fruit trees are in bloom. Several points of interest for children.
On the way, you can see the priory of Manthes, visit an extraordinary garden created by a disciple of the facteur Cheval, tour the Château du Double and search for a riddle.
The Castle of Bluebeard
The Drôme hills offer rolling countryside landscapes against the backdrop of the Vercors and, when visibility is good, the peaks of the Alps can often be seen on the horizon.
These are beautiful walks all year round, best enjoyed when the days are short and snow is approaching the plains. The route has a modest elevation gain, making it accessible to most people. What's more, the fact that it is spread over two sections of the route makes it easier to complete
From Château du Cros to La Châtaigneraie in Anneyron
A beautiful hike with stunning views of the Rhône Valley. This walking route is very pleasant in all seasons. In some places, it also offers an opportunity for mushroom pickers.

Walk in the hills around Ratières
A lovely walk in the rolling hills of the Drôme with many varied panoramic views.
Short walk in Beaurepaire
A walk well known to Beaurepairois residents: the first 500 metres are very popular with families with children. For a brisk walk, it takes between 15 and 20 minutes, and for walkers, allow 35 to 40 minutes.
The Grand Suzon valley
An easy walk, despite the distance. You will walk either through the heart of the plateau's crops or through woods. To finish, you will descend the very pretty Grand Suzon valley. The stream is often dry, but... not always!
If the weather is clear, you can enjoy some beautiful views of the surrounding peaks.

From the Priory of Saint-Andeol to the Tower of Ratières
Hike starting from the small village of Saint-Andéol, where there is a small church called Le Prieuré.You will walk uphill to the Tour de Ratières, where your climb will be rewarded with a magnificent, almost 360° view of the Alps and the Vercors to the east, as well as the Pilat massif and the Ardèche mountains to the west.
