Circuit starting from Haslach via the Sacred Well and the Urenkopf
A beautiful hike starting from Haslach that takes you to the Sacred Well and Chapel, the Urenkopf and the Devil's Pulpit rocks. Very pleasant in warm weather as it is mostly shaded but offers some beautiful views.
Vesperweg (Snack Trail) in Oberharmersbach in the Black Forest
Unusual facilities, beautiful panoramic views and a cuddle hut (Schmusehisli), the snack trail (Vesperweg) – it's quite a programme.
Around Gengenbach
Hike in the hills above Gengenbach. Car park next to a clinic. The route is accessible to all, with forest paths and small trails. The climb at the start is long but easy, and then you reach some small paths. At the end of the route, there is a magnificent view of the town of Gengenbach.
Lauterbach hiking trail
This trail has it all: the "Qualitätsweg Wanderbares Deutschland" (Quality Trail Wanderbares Deutschland) runs for 34 kilometres at altitudes between 568 and 879 metres. Nevertheless, the ascents on the "Lauterbacher Wandersteig" add up to a good 1350 metres in altitude.
Nußhurtkapelle and Triberger Wasserfälle from Triberg (Germany)
This loop will take you from Triberg (Baden-Württemberg) which, as well as being a major cuckoo factory, is also famous for its waterfall, the highest in Germany. A hike for everyone.
The route is in two parts:
The long 9 km loop takes you through forests and mountain meadows to discover some magnificent scenery.
The shorter 2.3 km loop takes you to the waterfall, which unfortunately is very popular with tourists, so there is a charge for admission (€8).
Simonswald Mill Trail
In Simonswald and its tranquil side valleys, where crystal-clear mountain streams murmur, six old mills clatter away. The mill trail connects the mills in a beautiful hike.
The Teufelsteig trail starting from Lautenbach
A beautiful hike to do in warm weather as most of it is shaded, with beautiful views. Picnics can be enjoyed at various locations. There are numerous benches along the route.
Lothar-Pfad or Spechtpfad trail in the Black Forest
A short trail (1 km) in the middle of a nature reserve allows you to discover two interesting things: how nature is rebuilding itself after the Lothar storm of 1999 without human intervention and how woodpeckers interact with trees.
Several variations of the route are available, including one that allows you to walk along the trail with a pushchair or wheelchair as it is made of wooden planks.Hikers can continue on the Panoramarundweg trail or take other hikes a little further afield (by bus or car) in the Black Forest (including the Allerheiligen waterfalls).
Allerheiligen waterfall and visit to the hamlet and abbey ruins
A pleasant short hike along the gorges, which are home to a series of waterfalls.
The hike can be done in either direction of the circular route.The direction of the circular loop shown is the ascent of the gorges and waterfalls. The path consists of steps to make the ascent easier.
Once you arrive in the hamlet of Allerheiligen, you will find amenities and places to eat.The ruins of an ancient abbey are open to visitors.
The return journey is along a forest road.There is a dedicated car park at the start/finish point.
Please note that this hike can be very popular and can get quite crowded, both in the car park and along the route.
Allerheiligen waterfall and Schliffkopf in the Black Forest
A beautiful circular hike starting at the foot of the Allerheiligen waterfall. Discover the old convent in the village. The route then climbs gradually to the heights above Ottenhöfen and finally loops back to Schliffkopf.

The Cherry Walk
A walk through the forest and vineyard of Nussbach with a lot a chery trees in the spring.
From amazing view point on the Vosges and black forest, to tiny (or bigger) chappel passing by lambs and goats, this hike is easy to do.
Think to bring a hat as part of the hike is fully exposed to the sun.

The lake and waterfalls of Sankenbach
A lovely hike in the Black Forest without any major difficulties. It takes us along wooded paths past Lake Sankenbachsee, the Sankenbacher Waterfalls, the Glasmännlehütte refuge and a short detour into the town of Baiersbronn.
Rohrschollen Island and Nature Reserve in Strasbourg (short version)
A short trip to the Nature Reserve on Rohrschollen Island at the gates of Strasbourg.
A little-known getaway full of discoveries.
