Between the Forest and the Chênoi

A short walk around Doulevant-le-Petit, through the forest. A very pleasant, easy stroll under the canopy. If you keep quiet, you may have the pleasure of spotting some of the many roe deer in the area.

Description of the walk

Park in the car park on the right at the top of the cul-de-sac leading to the Ville-en-Blaisois wash house (Chemin de Mertrud).

(S/E) With your back to the car park, follow Chemin de Mertrud, cross the main channel of the Blaise and then the old railway line (cycle path).

(1) Cross the cycle path and, shortly after this, you’ll reach a fork; take the right-hand path, which ends at a forest track.

(2) At the entrance to the forest, continue straight on along the white track until the7th section on the right, between clearings 563/562.

(3) Follow this track to the end and make a first turn right then left to take a new track leading to a wide dirt track.

(4) Turn right onto it and join the D223.

(5) Follow it to the right to reach the cycle path.

(6) Turn right onto the cycle path and join Chemin de Mertrud.

(1) Follow it to the left, retracing your steps from the start, to reach the wash house at Ville-en-Blaisois (S/E).
