The forest of Bailly-aux-Forges

Parking: City-stade car park in Bailly-aux-Forges

(S/E) From the car park, follow the path into the forest. Continue to a crossroads at elevation 177.

(1) Turn left, ignore a wide path on the right and follow a stony path.

(2) Turn right and follow this path until you reach a left-hand bend.

(3) Before the bend, take the path on the right; then, at the end of this path, turn left, continue for 150 m and turn right to join a white track.

(4) Follow it to the left for 150 m and turn onto a path on the right.

(5) At the end of this track, turn left for about 200 m, turn right and continue until you reach a dirt track. Cross it and take the track opposite.

(6) Turn right and follow this path for almost a kilometre.

(7) Turn right to join a stony path, then take it to the left until you reach the junction at elevation 177.

(1) Continue straight on and, following the path in the opposite direction to the outward journey, head back to the City-stade car park (S/E).
