Lac des Leschères in Wassy

Start from the car park by the embankment.

(S/E) Follow the lakeside path clockwise to the junction by the small pond.

(1) Take the path leading uphill to the left and, at the top of the hill, turn right onto a grassy track that runs along the edge of a woodland.

(2) At the first junction, turn right towards the west to join a forestry track.

(3) Follow it to the right until you reach the D113.

(4) Turn right and continue along this road north-east for about 1,200 metres.

(5) Once you have left the forest boundary, take the first farm track on the right. Follow this track, passing below the embankment, then return to the starting point (S/E).

A short, easy walk. Don’t forget your mosquito repellent.
