To get to the car park, head towards Moirans-en-Montagne. It is located at the roundabout on the outskirts of Moirans-en-Montagne, towards Lons-le-Saunier.
At the roundabout, follow the signs for Belvédère du Regardoire and park in the large car park on the right.
(S/E) The western edge of the car park is lined with trees. Head towards the middle to join the path signposted for Charchilla (yellow markings). Continue north-north-east until you reach the rest area on the D470, then turn left onto the small road.
(1) 50 m before the D470, turn onto the path on the left and continue to the Auberge Jurassienne. In front of the Auberge Jurassienne, cross the D301 and continue on the path, which initially runs parallel to the departmental road, until you reach Charchilla.
(2) Head left, west, onto the lake road for 200 m and take the path on the left to rejoin the D301.
(3) Head south for 150 m and turn right onto the forest road towards Belvédère de la Roche aux Corneilles (yellow and red GRP® signposts).
Follow this path to the turning area for reckless drivers who have taken this route. The viewpoint is located 20 m along the small path leading off to the right at the turning area.
(4) Turn back to the turning area and continue right on the path towards La Refrèche/Moirans-en-Montagne (red signposts). Continue on this path for 2 km to reach the Route de la Refrèche.
(5) Turn right to admire the view of the lake and the Crique de la Refrèche. Retrace your steps and continue along the road for 500 m. Leave the Route de la Refrèche and take the Route Forestière des Forges on the right. Continue to the cove and the Grotte des Forges.
(6) Once you reach the cave, take in the beauty of the place.
As you approach the cave, the rocks are slippery. There is a risk of falling, so take care.
Then leave the cave area via the path on the right, which starts off to the north and climbs towards Moirans-en-Montagne. Continue climbing for 1 km.
(7) At the end of the path, turn left to return to the Refèche road, then turn left (north) for 100 m until you see the sign for "Granges de Marleille".
(8) Follow the path on the right towards Regardoir/Moirans-en-Montagne (white and red GR® markings). Follow the markings carefully as there are many small paths branching off on both sides.
(9) At the signpost for "Champ Piernet", turn left and follow the signs for Les Araignées/le Regardoir (yellow markings)
(10) Pass the viewpoint overlooking the Refrèche cove and continue to the end of the trail to reach the path parallel to the D470.
(11) Continue left to reach the car park, which is 400 metres away (S/E).
