In the village of Mouxy, park between the church and the town hall.
(S/E) From the car park, take the stairs down to the sports fields via a steep path. Walk along the football pitches and then the tennis courts and follow the track to a road. Cross it and continue opposite on Chemin des Vignes, walking on flat ground until you reach an intersection.
(1) Turn left and climb the path that runs alongside allotments and a small stream. After about 400 metres, cross the D211 to continue the climb and arrive almost opposite a group of houses. Go around them on the left via a narrow path.
(2) Once above the houses, turn sharply right towards the south onto Chemin du Pelon and begin a long, gentle descent to Clarafond. Continue along the road called Chemin des Clefs, then take a short climb to the left via Impasse du Lavoir.
(3) Before reaching another road, turn left onto a stony path that leads to the Saint-Maurice chapel, then, above the chapel, follow the path downhill to the right. At the first intersection, continue downhill to the right, then veer left to reach a crossroads with a wash house and a cross opposite.
(4) Turn right, then keep left at the crossroads to descend via Route de la Charitine until you reach the junction with the D211.
(5) Turn right onto Chemin de la Côte Blanche, which avoids walking along the D211, then 200 m further on, cross the road carefully opposite a cross. Descend along the path, which is sometimes lined with vineyards. You will come to a small road; take it to the right for about 200 m.
(6) Go up the path on the right, which is well marked at the start but less so further up. When you reach a path, turn left, then left again onto a small tarmac section until you reach an intersection 50 metres further on.
(7) Turn right onto the almost horizontal path and follow it to arrive slightly upstream of the fork on the way there. Turn left.
(1) Continue right on the route taken on the way out and return to the starting point (S/E).
A lovely little walk for those who don't want to tackle steep slopes and long distances. Nothing more to say, thank you to the tracker for their work
