Park at the top of the Revard station.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the old cable car station (now a shop), then go to the orientation table.
Continue towards the memorial, enter the woods and descend towards the Bellevue loop. Follow the road for a short while. You will reach the Colet de la Pierre crossroads.
(1) Turn left onto a pleasant forest path (Chemin des Poètes in summer). You will reach a crossroads.
(2) Leave the roads and the path that descends to the left and climb up opposite via theGRP®; the climb is fairly steep until you reach the reservoir, passing the highest point of the hike, La Tour de l'Angle Est (1,563 m).
(3) Begin the descent on the narrow path, proceeding with caution due to the slippery rocks. Enter the forest. Reach the sign indicating La Tour des Ébats, and return for the view.
Continue the descent. The route describes a wide loop in the forest and ends near the Maison Cantonnière on the edge of the D913.
(4) Cross the road and descend towards the chalets of La Clusaz. The signposts are a little way from the buildings, but you are free to stop and buy some cheese.
(5) Leave theGRP® here, which descends to the left, and continue straight ahead to the south. The path crosses the Essarts stream and begins to climb. Then head towards the large buildings of the Crolles chalets. NB: in this area, the markings have been tampered with, but the path is obvious.
(6) From the chalets, take the right path and head towards the village of Tipis, which you will pass on your right. Shortly afterwards, leave the path and take a stony track, which you will quickly rejoin a little further on. In fact, you are now cutting across the loop of the path.
(7) From the junction with the path, turn right towards the D913 and immediately turn left onto a path that runs alongside the departmental road. This will take you to the large car park in Crolles, which is very popular with cross-country skiers in winter.
(8) Walk along the car park to find a path towards the car park entrance/exit. Stay on this path, which follows the departmental road at a slight distance. You will reach a building that houses a lodge and a kennel for sled dogs.
(9) Keep going until you come to a small clearing near a wooden gate and opposite a shed. Cross the road, pass to the right of the building and go back up to the car park (S/E), passing along the edge of the ski slopes (GRP® signposting).
