Walk around the Bresse
From La Bresse (centre), this is an easy 6-hour hike around the beautiful Hautes-Vosges valley.
Between passes and rocks around Lac des Corbeaux
This magnificent circular hike starting from La Bresse will allow you to discover an infinite variety of landscapes: Lac des Corbeaux, Étang de Sèchemer, Col de la Vierge, the Roche du Lac viewpoint (after two mountain huts) to reach Col du Brabant and its ski area, and finally head back to La Bresse via a splendid route through the Planot-Paris Arboretum. Classified as difficult solely due to its length: 22 km.

From Lac de Blanchemer to Lac de Longemer
Second stage of this hike with bivouac. This time, Lac Lalande, Lac de Retournemer, Cascade Charlemagne and Cascade de Retournemer will be on your route, allowing you to discover magnificent colours.
From Lake Longemer to Lake Blanchemer
The first stage of a two-day bivouac hike with an overnight stay at Lac de Blanchemer, passing by Lac du Lispach, which is reminiscent of a Canadian landscape, and the Machais peat bog.
Difficulty and beautiful views sum up this first stage.
Schiessrothried Lake - Charlemagne car park

This route is not accessible in winter. The route is closed between (3), (4), (5) and (6) from 1 November to 30 April 2022 (Prefectural Order of 18 May 2022).

Ballon de Servance
Hike to Ballon de Servance.Please note that for this hike, you will need two vehicles, one at (S) at the Col des Croix andthe other at the Sources de Presles reservoir (E). The path leading directly up to the Ballon is a quiet zone and is closed from 15 December to 14 July. See notices
Ballon d'Alsace - Chalet de l'Alouette
This beautiful route begins with two remarkable peaks in the Vosges and offers beautiful views of the upper Moselle valley, before reaching the Pays des Étangs.
Ballon d'Alsace - Giromagny
This hike takes you down from Ballon d'Alsace to Giromagny. It is the continuation of the Vosges crossing, proposed by DNA, Passion Vosges and the Journal d'Alsace (see practical information). The first few kilometres are along the ridges, with views of the Black Forest, the Rhine Valley and even the Alps. During this same section, you may come across several ski resorts, such as La Chaumière and La Gentiane. A farmhouse inn at Wissgrut offers lunch. Further on, a shelter at the Col du Chantoiseau provides a place to picnic. The descent then continues, sometimes more steeply than others. The arrival in Giromagny offers views of the city of Belfort.
