Route des Forgerons in Inzinzac-Lochrist

Parking is available at the Ile de Locastel car park or the Rue du Blavet car park, towards Penquesten (access via footbridge).

(S/E) At the signpost at the start of the walk, located at the entrance to the car park on the right, take the path on the right. Continue straight ahead to the Blavet and follow it on the left until you reach the second footbridge.

(1) Take the footbridge and enter the Parc du Bunz opposite, crossing the D23 with caution. Turn right near the wall, then left at the stream. Walk along the wetland and take the footbridge on the right.

(2) Follow the path between the fences and continue straight ahead. At the road, turn left, then right.

(3) Continue along the path on the left, alongside the stream. Cross the footbridge and continue to the right along the sunken path towards Ty Henry.

(4) Continue and, at the intersection, turn right towards the conifers. Stay on the main path which runs along the edge of the fields and climbs up to the left towards the road. Turn right and stay on the road for about 100 metres.

(5) Turn left onto the farm track. Go straight ahead at the crossroads and follow the signs for the "Route des Forgerons" route. Facing the embankment, turn right twice, then straight ahead, then left twice.

(6) At the large driveway, turn right, then slightly left, and descend to the right towards the Étang du Ty-Mat.

(7) Turn left before the pond and walk along it.

(8) At the car park, take the path on the left that climbs steeply. Continue straight ahead through the woods and turn left before the road.

(9) Continue to the Kermainguy car park (turning twice to the left, twice to the right, then left). Cross the car park and take the path to the left of the Parcours de la Charbonnière sign in the Bois de Trémelin. Stay on this path, ignoring the turnings on either side.

(10) Turn right, then continue straight ahead to the SPA centre.

(11) Exit the car park on the right and head opposite, into the woods. At the road, cross and follow the path on the right that runs parallel to the road, through the undergrowth.

(12) At the entrance to the village, turn left before the housing estate. At the intersections, go straight ahead, then turn right.

(13) Leave the housing estate on the right, Rue des Chênes, then turn left twice to reach Gorée, Poulherveno and Lochrist.

(14) Enter the housing estate on the left, Rue des Airelles, then turn right onto Rue des Merises and Rue des Myrtilles. Turn left, then right, towards the wash house.

(15) Continue left, passing close to the wash house (on the left below). At the end, go up to the right and follow Rue Cité des Ajoncs to the right, then straight on to Rue de Lann Blenn.

(16) Cross over and take Rue du Parc des Sports opposite. Turn left, then right onto Rue des Lauriers.

(17) Between the houses, follow the path that goes left along the stadium. At the road, go straight ahead, then turn left and right to reach Boulevard Salvador Allende.

(18) Go down the boulevard on the left and, at the intersection, enter the park (left and right). Continue on the central path that passes by the wash house, leaving the ponds on your left. Exit on the right, Cité de Kerprat. Turn left and go down Rue Barbusse. Continue straight ahead at the roundabout, then turn right into Mail Giovannelli. Join the Blavet on the left, passing in front of the Charpenterie.

(19) Walk up the river on the left and cross the footbridge. Cross the square, turn left and then right to return to your starting point (S/E).
