Route of the two departments in Wignehies

The starting point is in the centre of Wignehies, a few kilometres from Fourmies. Park in front of the post office or the church.

(S/E) Opposite the post office, go down the steps on the right and continue along Rue Jules Guesdes. Cross the bridge over the Helpe Mineure and walk past some beautiful houses heading south.

(1) 50 metres after the Ruisseau du Petit Moulin, take the country lane on the right until you reach the crossroads.

(2) Turn left and walk past the house. At the two consecutive junctions, turn right first, then left. Head towards Bois Saint-Denis

(3) Turn right onto the tarmac road. After the last house, turn left onto the grassy path.

(4) Enter the forest and take the path on the right that follows the edge of the forest to the Pied du Terne crossroads.

(5) Turn left onto Chemin du Maqua. After 250 metres, turn right onto the path marked by a green sign for a local walk.

(6) At the fork, turn right and take the road to the right. After 200 m, turn left onto the D1690.

(7) After the house, turn sharply right onto the beautiful path that heads south and leads to a road.

(8) Turn left and continue to the crossroads you passed on the way there.

(2) Keep left and descend towards Wignehies. When you reach the main street in Wignehies, turn right and head for the post office car park (S/E).
