The Great Calanques Crossing
A very beautiful route, but demanding due to its distance and elevation gain. The scenery is extraordinary throughout the route.
We set off at 7.30 am from Callelongue and took 11.5 hours, including a 1-hour break during the day. Using the Visorando GPS app, I recorded 2,768 metres of elevation gain and 2,718 metres of elevation loss, which is significantly higher than stated in the description.
