A splendid walk along the Warche ridges, offering superb panoramic views of the region.The highlight is Reinhardstein Castle, magnificently renovated. At the beginning of the 1970s, it was a veritable ruin that we could never have imagined would be brought back to life in such a way! The first 2 kilometres of the walk are in the countryside. The rest is almost entirely woodland, passing the rocky spur known as 'Nez de Napoléon', the Robertville dam, the Kalbusch Mill (campsite and tavern open Thursday and Sunday) and the impressive Carrière de la Warche.
From La Statte to La Hoëgne in Solwaster

Solwaster, a small village at the foot of the fagne, 16 km from Verviers, is unique in that it is located between two of the most beautiful rivers in the fagne: the Statte, which rises in the peat bogs of the Hautes-Fagnes, in the Wihonfagne fagne, and the Hoëgne, which rises in the Polleur fagne. These two rivers welcome us into a magical landscape of fens and forests.

This TOTEMUS hunt, called "La balade des trois vallées" (The Three Valleys Walk), follows the signposted "Promenade des Panoramas" walk, marked with a blue diamond, from the Maison du Tourisme du Pays de Herve.It is a beautiful discovery, taking you through streets and country lanes in little-known places on the edge of the golf course.

Clervaux and the Irbich Valley

A climb from Clervaux to a superb view of the abbey bell tower and the valley, then a route mainly through forest, finally returning along the Irbich river on country roads or dirt tracks.
You can shorten the walk by continuing from (6) to Drauffelt station (6 km in total) and returning by train (free on the GDL).
