Car park at Hébuterne Town Hall.
(S/E) Turn left and walk up the square to Rue de Sailly, D27. First turn right then left, walk up the square past the white planters and follow Rue du Four all the way to the water tower.
(1) Turn left and continue to the next junction.
(2) Turn right and continue straight on to the edge of the woods where two paths meet.
(3) Turn left and stay on the path until you reach the D27.
(4) Follow it to the right and keep to the left-hand side to cross Sailly-au-Bois until you reach a junction of two roads.
(5) Take Rue Haute on the left, then the first right, Rue Moinet. Continue to a cross.
(6) Turn right and continue straight on along the green path.
(7) At the fork in the path, take the left-hand path which goes downhill.
(8) At the bottom of the path, take the path on the right leading towards the Bois de Sailly and cross through it.
(9) At the end of the path, you’ll come to a small road; follow it to the left until you reach Coigneux, continuing straight on. Walk through the village and past the church.
(10) At the end of the village, turn right onto Allée de la Ferme du Rossignol. This is where the Source de l’Authie is located. Continue along the path, passing the farm, and walk to the entrance to Bayencourt, passing the cemetery.
(11) Continue straight on, passing the Place du Souvenir on your right. Carry on straight along Rue de Bexhill, cross the D129 carefully and take the path opposite, the Chemin de La Haye. Stay on this path until you reach a junction with a path coming from the right.
(12) Turn left and head downhill to the next junction at the 42-metre mark.
(13) Take the hairpin bend to the right and continue straight on until you reach Route de Foncquevillers (D3). Pass two paths on the left, the second of which leads to La Haye farm. Cross the main road carefully and take the small path opposite which runs alongside the woods.
(3) Continue straight ahead and, following the reverse route of the outward journey, return to Hébuterne Town Hall (S/E).
