Park just before the old Pont de Blagnac bridge (on the right coming from the Sept Deniers neighbourhood), on the grassy area in front of the entrance to the Jardins de l'Olympe restaurant.
(S/E) In front of the Grand Parc Garonne sign (Ginestous Sesquières route), head north on the right bank of the Garonne. You will be walking on a wide, sandy path.
(1) At the sign for "la maison bleue" (the blue house) - which has since been demolished - continue towards Fenouillet. The path becomes narrower and offers beautiful views of the Garonne. Leave the Parc Garonne path on your right and continue straight ahead.
(2) After a short wooden barrier on the left, turn right onto a small, barely visible path that runs alongside a field for a few metres before joining a small tarmac road (Impasse de Ginestous) lined with a few houses. Continue until you reach the Parc Garonne route on your left. Follow Chemin de Ginestous, which you will leave further on your left for Impasse Bellerive.
(3) At the end of the cul-de-sac, but before turning towards the house (private road), take a path on the right at the small rocks that runs alongside the crops.
(4) Further on, a large Parc Garonne sign indicates that you should turn right towards the canal (it is forbidden to continue straight ahead). Walk for a few hundred metres through the Ginestous agricultural plain before turning south towards Chemin de Ginestous (tarmac road), which you follow on the right. Continue along this road lined with houses.
(5) After the pallet storage warehouse, turn left onto a path that joins a wide, raised cycle path. Turn right onto this path, cross Chemin de Chantelle and continue along the path, with gardens on your right and a riding centre on your left.
(6) Cross Chemin de Ginestous (closed at this point) and follow the cycle path towards Pont de Blagnac for 900 m. Walk alongside a municipal golf course and return to your starting point car park (S/E).
