This circular has no stiles and is therefore suitable for dogs. It goes along quiet lanes, mostly flat through some attractive woodland and open countryside. It touches the outskirts of Warwick and along a section of the Grand Union Canal. This is walk 33 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

A pleasant walk through the Warwickshire countryside. The start is Kenilworth where you have the opportunity to visit the castle. The route includes a section of Millennium Way long distance footpath.

This trail takes you from the station at Hatton who’s most notable landmark is the Hatton Locks – a lovely location to watch colourful narrowboats as they move through the flight of 21 locks, onto the Lapworth and Kingswood via the towpath of the Grand Union Canal. An easy five-mile amble following the towpath of the Grand Union Canal through some of Warwickshire’s finest countryside.

This circular route incorporates the National Trust’s Packwood House, three pubs and a flight of locks as well as taking you through some of the prettiest countryside between Warwick and Solihull.

You are a stone’s throw from the babbling Inchford Brook, the rolling greenery of Abbey Fields, and some monumental WW2 relics at Goodrest Farm. You’ll also get even closer to some gorgeous Alpacas before the halfway point!

This circular walk starts at The Boot Inn Lapworth on the B4439 south east of Hockley Heath. Initially the route follows the Stratford-upon-Avon Canal, leaving this at Drawbridge Farm to follow a delightful section of the Millennium Way. This is walk 35 from the 44 composing the Millenium Way.

A breath of fresh air as you wander through tranquil farmland with wonderful views over Warwick and meander along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal to the famous locks at Hatton. Strike out into glorious rolling countryside en route to Hatton’s famous flight of 21 locks on the Grand Union Canal.

During the early part of the walk you will follow a short section of the Millennium Way along the Grand Union Canal and, after walking some delightful open, flat countryside, will rejoin it at Temple Balsall. This trail takes you through countryside and farmland to the historic village of Berkswell where you’ll spot several 16th and 17th century houses as well as the 16th century Bear Inn and Grade 1 listed, church of St. John the Baptist. Famous for its Norman crypt, it is considered amongst the finest in the country. Outside the church is Bercul’s Well legendarily used for full immersion baptisms as far back as the 8th century.

This trail explores the remaining areas of woodland from what was once part of the great Forest of Arden. Historically this was an area of scattered farmsteads, mostly belonging to the Stoneleigh Estate. You’ll still see occasional older buildings amongst the modern development as well as the plaque which marks the site of the former Massey Ferguson Factory.

This walk on the southern edge of the West Midlands explores some pleasant countryside and also follows a section of the Millennium Way long distance path.

A fashionable spa town with a history built on its saline springs, Leamington Spa’s beautiful town centre is known for its Regency architecture, wide boulevards and award-winning gardens. First following the Grand Union Canal and then the River Leam, this trail takes you into the surrounding countryside to the village of Offchurch. On your route you can explore the Leam Valley Local Nature Reserve and Newbold Comyn, as well as the renowned Jephson Gardens. Branch out from this fashionable spa town to follow the Grand Union Canal to the village of Offchurch and back via Newbold Comyn.

This walk between Canley and Coventry railway stations explores the green spaces of Canley Ford Local Nature Reserve, Top Green Park, and Coventry’s largest city park, the stunning War Memorial Park.

This trail takes you on mainly tarmacked surfaces out of Hampton-in-Arden, across the River Blythe to the Marsh Lane Nature Reserve before returning to the village. Mentioned in Domesday Book, Hampton is now a popular commuter village and also boasts Solihull’s only Michelin-starred restaurant – Peel’s at Hampton Manor. There are plenty of hints of its antiquity in the well preserved 17th century timbered houses of the village.
