Asnières walks

A hike in the heart of nature with beautiful landscapes between Calvados and Eure.

As in the rest of the Pays d'Auge, this route consists mainly of dirt tracks with a few short sections on departmental or municipal roads, two of which require caution between points (6)-(7) and between points (9) and (10). You are guaranteed plenty of fresh air on this wooded and uncrowded route. There are a few difficulties, especially in wet weather, so take care where you step, particularly between points (4)-(5), (7) and (12).

Come and discover the animals at Cerza Zoological Park, such as rhinos, giraffes and a few gazelles. This ride is very pleasant, wooded and hilly, and can be enjoyed at a walking pace or at a trot or gallop.

2 possible routes: a short one of 4 km or a long one of 9 km. Set in the heart of the bocage countryside, this route is bordered for nearly 60% of its length by embankments and hedgerows that form a well-preserved bocage landscape. Easy and flat, this route offers a lovely walk through typical Normandy countryside, amidst meadows and fields.

This walk is a stroll through the countryside of the Pays d'Auge, with all the colours of the trees if you do it in autumn.

As ‘douets’ are streams, the walk weaves its way through three watercourses that divide the Tordouet area. From apple orchards to hedgerows and from pastures to apple trees, the route winds its way through beautiful, steep-sided landscapes.

In Normandy, in the countryside near Pont-Audemer, there is a valley that has been preserved from urbanisation. The Véronne valley is ideal for walking along its sunken paths, which offer beautiful rural landscapes, natural sites of great beauty and interesting examples of built heritage. This unmarked route crosses three official marked routes: one light blue route starting from Campigny (CY), one yellow route and one dark blue route starting from Saint Martin Saint Firmin (SM).
