The route starts from the car park at the church in Bailleul-La-Vallée.
Yellow signposting.
(S/E) Take the small road heading south, which runs past the church and the small village hall, and crosses the stream. Just before the pumping station, take the tarmac path on the right. After the house, the path becomes a footpath, running along the edge of the woodland before entering it. It overlooks the valley and the stream slightly.
(1) At the road, turn right for a return trip to the buildings of the former stud farm.
On your return, take the tarmac path on the right. Pass between the houses and past the old mill. The path runs alongside the river and the stud farm buildings for a while before moving away from them. Ignore the path that climbs up to the left and carry on straight ahead.
(2) At the road, turn right, then take the first path on the left between the ‘La Valdorgère’ houses.
(3) At the road, make the first turn right then left to take the first road on the left until the next junction.
(4) At the junction, turn left onto the path leading down towards the Ruisseau de l’Abbesse. Follow the bottom of the valley to the left.
(5) When you reach the road, turn onto the path immediately on the right towards the entrance to the woods. It climbs back up towards the plain. At the path, take the track on the left which joins the road. Cross the road and continue along the road opposite towards “La Coudrière”. At the first junction, turn right.
(6) Before reaching the next houses, turn onto the path that runs between the hedges on the left. Cross the road and head for the next one.
(7) Carry on to the right, then take the first path on the left. After the houses, the path veers off to the left and enters the woods, descending towards Bailleul-la-Vallée.
(8) At the road, turn left to reach the church (S/E).

Very beautiful hike. Varied landscape.
