(1) The hike begins in the car park next to the town hall and church in Marolles.
Head south-west. At the first junction, turn left onto Chemin des Croisettes for 100 metres, then right. At the end, turn left onto Chemin des Roquettes to reach a road and follow it to the right for 200 metres.
(2) Then turn left onto a path that passes near the water treatment plant, then right uphill to join another road.
(3) Head south-west and continue straight ahead. After the hamlet of Émery, leave Chemin des Guerreries and take a path on the left that descends slightly through some damp ground before joining a road.
(4) Turn left for 500 metres, then right onto the first path. Follow this path until you reach the next road, the D135, then turn south-west, keeping to the right.
(5) Turn right towards the town hall. At the Cordebugle town hall, directly opposite, enter the forest for 200 metres, then turn left and continue straight ahead. The path meets a road, which you follow past Les Tiques (houses on the left).
(6) Turn right down towards the Marolles river, which you cross via a small bridge, then turn left. At the next crossroads, follow the Route de Courtonne to the left.
(7) Don't miss the path on the right (north-east) that climbs towards Champ aux Oiseaux and Lieu du Bois.
(8) Turn right towards the east.
(9) Turn right onto Chemin des Croisettes, then at the next crossroads, turn left towards the car park.
