Welcome to Altorf for a walk through forests, fields and villages, discovering ancient boundary stones (from the 16th to the 18th centuries).
This 6 km route is ideal for a family walk. For very young children, the route can be shortened (simply ignore the optional points). There is even a playground on the route.

Along the Bruche in Molsheim

This walk takes you along the Bruche River to the Dompeter d'Avolsheim, the oldest church in Alsace. After passing through the village centre, the route takes you to the Saint-Ulrich Chapel, where you can admire its ancient frescoes before returning to Molsheim along the other bank of the Bruche.

Loop through the Rosheim vineyards and the dry grasslands of Rosenwiller

Loop hike from Rosheim, combining the "Circuit des balcons" and the "Circuit du vignoble".
An undulating route with no difficulty, winding through the vineyards on the heights of Rosheim, then leading to Rosenwiller and its "Sentier de découverte de collines en vignobles" (discovery trail through the vineyard hills).
The return journey will allow you to discover the must-see sights of the Roman city of Rosheim.
Bacchus le Trötele circuit

The Bacchus tours take you on a journey of discovery through the Alsatian vineyards. The Trötele reveals the landscapes around Molsheim: a succession of meadows, vineyards, hills, forests and villages. Crossing the protected natural site of Jesselsberg in Soultz-les-Bains.
Trötele means grape press in Alsatian.
Chapels between vineyards and canal starting from Dompeter

A loop to discover the chapels near Molsheim. This circuit runs through the vineyards and along the Bruche Canal.
A loop between Rosheim and Bischenberg

Short circular loop from Rosheim, a beautiful Alsatian city (situated on the Wine Route and the Roman Route), particularly steeped in history, which its architectural heritage is evidence of.
Walk through the vineyards and orchards towards Bischenberg, its convent, dry prairies and beautiful view over the plain.
Vitaboucle route no. 30: Around Kolbsheim

A short family walk around the village of Kolbsheim. The route mainly passes through the meadows and fields around the village.
Schiebenberg circuit in Dinsheim-sur-Bruche

Welcome to the Mutzig-Molsheim region, located in the heart of Alsace, on the Wine Route, about 20 kilometres from Strasbourg.
This hike offers you an excursion into the Bruche Valley, with landscapes of forests, fields and villages, as well as a panoramic view from the Schiebenberg hill.

Soulz-les-Bains - the Casemate Trail

If you are looking for a varied hike alternating between wide panoramic views from a ridge and a valley with meadows, undergrowth and vineyards, you will not be disappointed. There is also a touch of local history linked to the most important German fortification of the late 19th century.
Vitaboucle route 32: Around Osthoffen

A short walk in the sunshine between fields and vineyards around the village of Osthoffen. Some nice views, such as the vineyards of Scharrachbergheim-Irmstett slightly higher up, or Strasbourg cathedral in the distance.
Vitaboucle route no. 31: Around Hangenbieten
A lovely family walk around the village of Hangenbieten. The route gives you an overview of the village and the banks of the Bruche. If the weather is clear, you will have a panoramic view of the Black Forest as far as Obernai.
The Wurmberg hill

This is an easy walk to discover the Wurmberg. It is located in the Bruche valley near Gresswiller. It is a small hill with terraces. You can see a wide variety of plants and orchards and, if you are lucky, some animals, especially birds.
Circuit around the Scharrach

Circuit for visiting Scharrach Hill, combining cycle paths and vineyard trails. Visit the ruins of the blockhouse at the highest point of Scharrach.
Numerous viewpoints over the vineyards, the Vosges mountains and the neighbouring villages.
Distant view of Strasbourg and its cathedral (for those with good eyesight).
Bacchus Route Le Loejele

This route takes you through the vineyards of Alsace's "Suisse d'Alsace" region, along the Alsace Wine Route, passing through villages near Balbronn. Winegrowers line the route, offering visitors the chance to stop for a quick tour of their cellars and, why not, a tasting.
The Loejele is a wooden barrel used to carry drinks to the fields, vineyards and forests.
A third of the hike is on tracks or tarmac roads.
The Heidenkopf tower - Merlin's garden

Loop hike starting from Klingenthal.
The circuit takes us to the summit of the Heidenkopf, where you can climb the tower to enjoy a 360° view from the orientation table.
We then reach the place known as Verloreneck (meaning "lost corner") with its surprising arrangement of megaliths, known as Merlin's Garden.
The circuit is mainly through forest.
Loop around Ottrott and Saint-Nabor

This loop starts in Ottrott-le-Haut and passes by the castles of Ottrott, the Elsberg shelter and the Hohenburgerberg, returning to Ottrott via the Compostela pilgrims' trail.
The vineyards of Westhoffen and Wangen

A very pretty little hike with splendid views of the vineyards and orchards of Westhoffen and Wangen.
Best done in spring, when the fruit trees are in bloom, or in autumn, when the vineyards are changing colour.
Mont Sainte-Odile, the pagan wall and the Sentier des Merveilles trail

A walk passing by many historical points, following the astonishing pagan wall around Mont Sainte-Odile.
Mont Sainte-Odile

This is a circular hike, with Mont Sainte Odile as its highlight, an iconic place of pilgrimage dedicated to the patron saint of Alsace.
There are beautiful views of the Alsace plain from the site, with orientation tables. In good weather, you may be lucky enough to see Strasbourg Cathedral.
The route also takes you along the mysterious Mur Païen (Pagan Wall). On the way back, you will see the ruins of Hagelschlos and Ottrott castles (which are not open to visitors).
Please note: dogs are not allowed inside the monastery grounds.
Circuit around Heiligenstein

This circuit, which alternates between fields and forests on the hillsides, offers breathtaking views of the Alsace plain and, more specifically, the Obernai region. You will also discover the ruins of Truttenhausen Abbey and the Barr geological trail.
