Parking is available at the Vendangeoir car park. Access it via Rue de l’Altenberg.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, leave Dorlisheim by heading left. Cross the dual carriageway via the road bridge.
(1) Taking a quick right-left turn, follow the path (marked with a Blue Cross) which leads into the "Das Thal" valley and joins the "Sentier de découverte".
(2) Follow it to the left (marked with a Blue Cross), pass a shelter with benches and continue straight on. The path enters the forest, which you cross via a short stretch.
(3) On leaving the forest, turn left, then right at the next junction, to reach a wayside cross. A few metres to the right is the fountain known as Laegerbrunnen, where there are benches to rest on.
(4) At the wayside cross, follow the path that climbs to the left (marked with a Red Saltire). At the next junction, stay on the path on the right-hand side and continue to the next junction at a place called Holiesel.
(5) Follow the path that veers sharply to the left (marked with a Yellow Ring) to cross a plateau and reach a second wayside cross further on.
(6) Continue straight on (Red Disc signposting) through the vineyard. Pass a table and benches as well as an orientation table offering a fine view of the valley (Rosenwiller and Obernai, amongst others), and continue to the junction marked by athird wayside cross.
(7) Turn left (still following the Red Disc markings) to reach the original fork further down.
(1) Turn right. Cross the dual carriageway via the road bridge and return to the car park at the start (S/E).
