To reach the start of the hike, take Rue de la Paix at the cemetery, then Rue Haute Corniche to the left. Park at the end of the park on the right, near the statue of Lazare Carnot.
(S/E) Take Chemin des Châtaigniers and continue to the end of the road.
(1) About 50 metres after the barrier, turn right and walk about 400 metres to the viewpoint.
(2) Make a short round trip to admire the view, then continue to the road. Turn right uphill and follow the road to an intersection. Turn left and walk about 100 metres.
(3) Take the path on the left, marked with a yellow triangle, towards the convent. Continue straight ahead and follow the markings to the Bischenberg Convent (visit the chapel and the Way of the Cross).
(4) Take the Way of the Cross to exit at the top, then walk to the houses. Continue left to the end of the street.
(5) Turn right for 10 metres, then left, still following the path marked with a yellow triangle, and descend to a bend on the left with a bench.
(6) Leave the road on the right and walk along the path to the puppy school on the left.
(7) At the intersection, turn left, walk alongside the dog training centre, stay on this track for about 400 m and reach the first intersection.
(8) Turn left onto the uphill path to reach the vineyard rest bench.
(9) Opposite, take the tarmac road that crosses the vineyard and leads to the Memorial.
(10) After the Memorial, turn left onto Allée du Mémorial, then walk up Rue Haute Corniche to the car park (S/E).
