A hike in Beaujolais through vineyards and forests, starting from Juliénas near Belleville. This hike can be shortened or lengthened (see description).
With Monsieur Clapassou above Creissels
This route offers superb views of Millau and its viaduct. Leaving the valley, you reach the legendary Larzac Plateau.
Tour of Mont Ministre and Mont Monnet
The hike combines the Odouard and Jean-Jacques Rousseau trails, starting from Chuyer. The first part, to the south-east, on the Odouard trail, offers beautiful views of the Rhône valley. At the Col de Grenouze, the small loop takes you up to Mont Monnet: orientation table, beautiful view in good weather over the valley, the Vercors and the Alps (Mont Blanc). Forest paths then follow the Jean-Jacques Rousseau trail to the Col de Pavezin, and return via the Odouard trail.
From Viens to the Col des Quatre Chemins

Mourre Nègre circuit via the north
This circuit leads to the top of Mourre Nègre, the highest point in the Luberon (1,115 metres), from the north, via a series of detours. The climb is gradual. Beautiful view from the summit. The descent also offers beautiful panoramic views but requires good footwear on a stony path.
Plaine Joux - Refuge de Moëde Anterne via Lac de Pormenaz
The first stage of a two-day excursion to Lac d'Anterne, this day allows us to reach the Refuge du Col d'Anterne via Les Argentières and Lac de Pormenaz.
Moëde Anterne refuge - Col and Lac d'Anterne - Lac Vert - Plaine Joux
From the Moëde Anterne refuge where you will have spent the night, there is a beautiful climb to the Col d'Anterne, facing Mont Blanc, then a return trip to Lac d'Anterne. The descent from the pass is via the 4X4 track to spare your joints.
Lac and Col d'Anterne in 2 days starting from Plaine Joux
If you spend a night at the Moëde Anterne refuge, you can make a round trip to Lake Anterne, taking a different route on the descent from the refuge.Beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Three lakes on the programme: Lac de Pormenaz on the first day, then a night at the refuge, Lac d'Anterne the next day, which reflects the rocky ridge of Les Fiz, and Lac Vert near Plaine Joux, to be saved for the return trip.
From Chiroubles to the Col de Durbize
A short walk to get in shape through the Beaujolais vineyards.
Refuge du Châtelleret from La Bérarde
A beautiful hike up the Étançons torrent with views of the Barre des Écrins and La Meije, staying on paths that present no technical difficulties.
Tour of the shepherd's huts of Vals-près-le-Puy
A short family walk to admire the shepherd's huts, dry-stone structures typical of the Vals-près-le-Puy region, near the Way of St James, with a panoramic view of the Loire Valley to the south of Le Puy.
The Daronne Gorges, circular tour starting from Deyras
A lovely walk through the woods in Ardèche, near Saint-Félicien, with two descents into the Daronne gorges, following part of the nature trail through this natural site. You can visit the hamlet of Saint-Sorny. On the way back, there are beautiful views of the Alps, weather permitting.
Circular between Bédoin and Gros Pata
A moderately difficult, well-shaded circular route from the Ventoux vineyards to the Malaucène National Forest, with views of the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Bédoin ochre quarry.
The hike was modified at the end of May 2021 to avoid crossing private property.
Stream crossings near Loire-sur-Rhône
Shaded walk along the banks of streams in a Rhône ravine. A surprisingly peaceful natural area given its proximity to urban centres.
Double circular route from Saint-Gens to Sénanques
Between two important sites of medieval Christianity, this hike promises beautiful views of the magnificent landscapes of the Vaucluse: Dentelles de Montmirail, Mont Ventoux, and the Rhône Valley. The dense vegetation provides shade in summer.
Demanding in terms of length and elevation, it is reserved for experienced and motivated hikers. Refrain from hiking in case of rain or threatening storms.
