A circular route, including the ascent to the highest peak in the Saanen region, with stunning views of the Vaud, Fribourg and Bernese Alps.

See also the "Practical information" section During thissecond stage, the Jaunbach will be your companion for a long time. After Im Fang, it becomes the Jogne, which will then lead you to Lake Montsalavens and the dam. You will follow the path through the wild gorges of the Jogne. In Broc, you will pass by the famous Cailler chocolate factory. Your route will also take you past the chapel of Notre-Dame des Marches. You will arrive in Gruyères via its medieval castle. Don't miss out on tasting the moitié-moitié fondue.

A typical Bernese Oberland alpine hike featuring one of the region’s most beautiful lakes, starting from the valley and following a small stream and, in places, the road. You climb up through the mountain pastures to reach the Seebergsee; take a short detour to gain some height and enjoy a better view of the lake before heading back down and taking a dip in summer. Then descend via a different path which offers a better panorama but is more challenging towards the end.

This circular walk in the Val de Charmey region (Gruyère) links the Gros Mont valley with the Petit Mont (Klein Mungbach) valley, passing via the summits of the Hochmatt (2,152 m) and Cheval Blanc (2,147 m). The return route takes you up the Petit Mont valley, passing at the foot of the Dent de Savigny before descending back towards the Gros Mont plain. Amidst pastures and forests, you’ll enjoy magnificent views of all the surrounding peaks, particularly the Gastlosen massif.

For this fourth stage, you will follow the Via Alpina to Lenk. At the Hahnenmoospass, you can enjoy views of the Wildstrubel and Wildhorn mountains and the Plaine Morte glacier. A long descent will take you to the peaceful village of Lenk in the Simme Valley.

For thisfirst stage, you will walk along the pleasant Black Lake, then look down on it from the Hubel Rippa mountain pasture. The landscapes are varied, you will cross numerous mountain pastures and also the karst plain of Breccaschlund. The Euschels Pass will take you across pastures to the village of Jaun, the only German-speaking village in the district of Gruyère. In Jaun, don't miss the chance to cool off at the waterfall located 350 metres from the hotel.

This four-day itinerary follows the Alpenpanorama Weg trail (No. 3). You will start at a charming lake in German-speaking Switzerland and end up on the shores of Lake Geneva in French-speaking Switzerland. This route combines nature, culture and gastronomy and is sure to delight you. This mini trek can be summed up as follows: Schwarzsee and the mountain pastures to Jaun, the Jogne Gorge, the village of Gruyères with its medieval castle, the Moléson, Lake Geneva, Gruyères cheeses, and the Cailler and Nestlé chocolate factories.

The Engstligen Falls, near Adelboden in the Bernese Highlands, consist of two waterfalls, Engstligen Fall I and II, with heights of 97 and 165 m respectively. They are listed in the Swiss inventory of landscapes of national importance.

After a night in the wilderness, for this third stage you will leave the Engstlige Alp and descend into the Adelboden valley. This route is enhanced by the famous Engstlige waterfalls. The Engstlige waterfalls plunge 600 metres into the valley, offering an exceptional spectacle. They are a protected site and are the second highest waterfalls in Switzerland. In the evening, you can enjoy the charming resort of Adelboden.

This walk, starting from Cerniat above the town of Charmey, takes you up to the ridges of the Vanil des Cours and Mont Bifé, little-visited peaks offering magnificent views over Lake Gruyère, the plateau and the Pre-Alps. The path is often shaded and alternates between woodland and pastures. This walk follows the route known as ‘Le Vanil des Cours’ for the ascent, but extends it by following all the ridges above Lake Gruyère.

A short route, but the higher you go, the steeper the slope becomes. A mix of forest, mountain pastures and sweeping panoramic views typical of the area. A wide view of the Alps and the Jura from the summit. A lovely discovery. The actual climb to Le Vanil is quite challenging.

Starting from Erlenbach and after a cable car ride to Chrindi, this tour will take you to the summit of the Stockhorn, at an altitude of 2,190 metres, passing two beautiful lakes on the way. Once at the top, you can admire both lakes at the same time.

The walk starts and ends at the Tseuzier dam. It begins by skirting the lake, then continues uphill tothesmallLac de Téné. The ascent to the pass takes place on a route consisting entirely of rock (the glacier is no longer visible). The descent follows a different path, offering some stunning views, particularly along sections over the sharp limestone pavement (a geological formation).

A loop with a mountain atmosphere facing the imposing Diablerets massif, with a return trip to the Col de Seron. In the second part, you will have a view of the Oberland peaks in the distance. Not to mention the small Lac Rétaud in its setting, to be admired at the end of the day.

From the start, there is a 27% slope, then 40% under the cliff, with a few passages requiring cables. A large part of the 6.9 km route is blue and white. A physically demanding hike, but what a reward at the summit! In good weather, the Peak to Peak is a bonus.
