Hiking from Anes et Co (Walcourt) Half-day donkey ride Tour via GR®, fields, woods and village, view of the Eau d'Heure dams Option to extend to other attractions around the Eau d'Heure lakes region

This is a 10 km route through the countryside around the village of Laneffe, with a few wooded sections along beautiful paths. There is a large car park at the starting point. The walk begins by following part of the "Tour St-Eloi". This is the route taken by the St-Eloi procession during the village's traditional folk walk. From (4), it continues towards the heights of the village, where you can see the surroundings towards Charleroi. The end of the route gives pride of place to the green countryside before returning to the village.

At the start, the hike offers an outdoor visit to the Château d'Ham-sur-Heure and the Sentier des Prairies du Château, which leads to the station, passing close to a waterfall and a half-bridge over the Eau d'Heure. After the station, the hike takes you over hill and dale through the forest for about 4.5 km before moving decisively into the countryside until you return to Ham-sur-Heure.

A walk that is half forest, half countryside between the villages of Fraire, Saint-Aubin and Morialmé.The route takes you along paths connecting villages, forest and country lanes and small country roads. Please take care not to use paths or forest tracks that are closed to the public (to allow wildlife to rest).

Set off to explore the countryside and forests to the north-west of Florennes and north-east of Walcourt. This is south of Gerpinnes and the stronghold of the marches and pilgrimages of Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse.Shortly after setting off, the route passes the majestic Ferme de la Prévôté (information board) and the imposing church of Hanzinne.The walk passes through the outskirts of Tarcienne, in the national forest and then through the centre of Morialmé before reaching the villages of Hanzinelle and returning to Hanzinne. A pleasant circular walk in the woods near Charleroi. Discover part of the Eau d'Heure valley and the charming village of Jamioulx. The Eau d'Heure is a small river that flows into the Sambre at Marchienne-au-Pont. It gets its name from its unique ability to rise in an hour and fall just as quickly.

A little countryside, a little forest, a little town, a little of the Sambre with a lock and an old drawbridge, the Abbey of Aulne, Thuin, Hourpes, its strange castle and lots of forest to finish off – that's what's on the programme for this walk.

Here is a short, easy walk in the woods of Leernes and along the Sambre.

Around Thuin, a charming little fortified town, this short hike partly follows the Ravel 3 and Ravel line 109/2, passing through typical streets on the ramparts of Thuin and the magnificent Grand Bon Dieu woods.

This long circular route alternates harmoniously between countryside and forest, going all the way around the Florennes air base (military) via the (almost) shortest possible route on public paths and trails, avoiding busy roads. Here, as elsewhere, take advantage of the beautiful autumn colours to leave behind the deep, dark forests of certain areas of the Ardennes, where spruce trees reign supreme, and explore the countryside and deciduous forests of the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse region.

A beautiful hike (just over 3 hours), much appreciated, combining forests, streams, ponds and countryside. You will also be able to admire the castle of Sart-Eustache. Whatever the season, this route will allow you to discover the splendours of the Bois du Grand Fréchy, all along the Ruisseau de l'Étang du Diable. A truly exotic route despite its short distance. A walk for those nostalgic for the little mountains, with their valleys, plateaus and streams spanned by old stone bridges. A walk for lovers of calm and nature. And as a gift for children, lots of animals: hens, roosters, ducks, buzzards, goats, sheep and, with a little patience, squirrels and roe deer in the woods... A visit to the Tower will bring a hint of culture.

Long hike starting from Sautin in the municipality of Sivry-Rance, through the Bois de Bruyère towards Lac du Val Joly, in the French municipality of Eppe-Sauvage, partly following the Transylvestre andGR®®125Tour de l'Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse trails. Wooded and rural, the route alternates between forest trails, country lanes and local roads.

Loop between bocage and woods, from the Eau d'Eppe to the Ry de Fromont. Montbliart is a small village in Belgium surrounded by hamlets and farms. The built heritage is typical.Montbliart was also home to an academy of surrealist artists (painters and poets) who created an art magazine, the Daily-Bul (information panels in front of the village hall).

This route takes you up to the Croix de la Roche in Lomme, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of Nismes. This limestone peak topped with a cross offers a unique view of the Viroin valley. La Roche à Lomme is known beyond its borders for its great biological value. The rocky slope to the south-east is covered with Mediterranean-style flora, enhanced by the abundant presence of boxwood.

Standing on a rock, you look out over the natural chasm of Fondry des Chiens. The limestone soil of the region gives this place an otherworldly feel and takes you on a journey without leaving the country. Who said you had to go far away to get a change of scenery? Over millions of years, the action of water has carved huge chasms up to 20 metres deep into the limestone. These natural chasms are called "Fondrys". In Belgium, they are only found in the Viroin region. Discover geological curiosities and viewpoints. Explore beautiful landscapes combining rocks, rivers and limestone grasslands where numerous orchids appear in spring.

This is an easy, short hike that allows you to discover the Calestienne region and the Ardennes, with the added bonus of a view of the splendid Château des Comtes de Hamal in Vierves.
