Departure from the Ravel car park on the N589, on the left before the dam when coming from Boussu-lez-Walcourt, or on the right after the dam when coming from Cerfontaine.

(S/E) Take the small path at the back of the car park, opposite the main road. Go downhill to reach and walk along the Lac de l'Eau d'Heure. Pass a small car park, located between the corner of a field and the lake, and reach the next fork.
(1) Continue along the road on the left, going uphill, and leave the Ravel on your right.
(2) Cross the N589 with caution (traffic can be very fast) and continue straight ahead towards Erpion. You will reach a four-way fork (three roads and a path) after leaving the woods and going around the bend to the right.
(3) Follow the left-hand path until you reach a crossroad.
(4) Turn left and, 100 m further on, turn right and continue to the end.
(5) When you reach the horse barrier, take the path on the left. This may be muddy after heavy rain. Cross the woods, then walk alongside the houses on your right and join the road (N589a).
(6) Cross carefully and continue on the path opposite (slightly to the right). Then walk alongside the "Landal Village l'Eau d'Heure" to reach Lac de la Plate Taille.
(7) At the lake, turn left and follow the Chemin Ravel path which runs alongside Lac de la Plate Taille.
(8) When you reach the playground, walk along the car park on your left for 50 metres until you reach the entrance to the Visitor Centre.
(9) Just before the Visitor Centre, turn right and take the path that passes under part of the building to the Plate Taille Dam.
(10) When you reach the N589, keep to your left, then cross carefully to return to the car park where you started (S/E).
