Park in the car park at the top of Parc de Buisson Rond, near the Barberaz cemetery.
Yellow markings and directional signs.
(S/E) Exit the car park and walk up the street opposite. It turns into a grassy path, veers left, crosses a park and leads to the Route de Lelia. Cross the crossroads and climb 50 m.
(1) Follow a wide footpath on the left, climb and rejoin a road serving the villas. Continue to the main road and turn left. Continue along this road for about 600 metres, ignoring the paths and streets on either side. You will come to a crossroads with two separate directional signs.
(2) Take the road uphill to the right, follow it for 50 metres, then turn left onto a stony path. As you climb, enjoy the unobstructed views of the Belledonne mountain range. In a wooded area, take a slight descent to a road.
(3) Do not take this road, but turn right instead. Walk up the path for barely 50 metres, then turn left and continue along this path, which becomes a trail. Pass an intersection with a sign pointing towards La Lésine.
(4) At the next intersection, turn right. Then turn left onto the path. Further on, continue along a small road in front of an isolated house. At the intersection that quickly appears (signpost for "Fontaine de la Diez"), turn left and begin the descent.
(5) At the next intersection, turn left and immediately turn right at the hairpin bend. Ignore two turnings on the left and then one on the right and turn left at the hairpin bend. You will reach another hairpin bend (rubbish shelter).
(6) Leave the path to Mont Carmel opposite you and descend at the next hairpin bend. Leave the main road here and take the Chemin sous Le Bois de la Coche on the right. At the end of this small road, descend via a path on the left, then climb back up. Pass by an old barn and rejoin the road. Follow it and you will soon reach another intersection.
(7) Go up to the left and rejoin the outward route.
(3) Retrace your steps to return to the car park (A/D).
