Woods and countryside around Villeneuve-sur-Bellot
A hike that climbs to the heights of the left bank of the Petit Morin before following the river. Along the way, there are two beautiful old churches. In the summer or spring sunshine, you will appreciate the shade provided by the many woods you pass through.

Along the meandering lower valley of the Petit Morin with its steep slopes, amidst meadows, wetlands, woods and farmland, you pass through several villages and hamlets boasting a fascinating history and heritage. A circular route with varied landscapes, including woods, meadows and cultivated plateaus. There are some very pretty villages and beautiful churches to see along the way.
Retourneloup and the Saint-Hubert Spring
This hike takes you along very small roads and paths through fields and woods, climbing up to the plateau on the left bank of the Petit Morin before continuing along the bottom of the valley. The Source Saint-Hubert site is a great place to stop for some shade.
Medieval churches of Brie - Vendières and L'Epine-aux-Bois
In the hills above the Petit Morin Valley, this is a rural route where you rarely lose sight of the massive bell towers of the former abbey church of Vendières or the partly ruined church of L'Epine-aux-Bois.
Petit Morin Valley - Montolivet and the Moulin de l'Oie
A bucolic hike where paths through fields and woods alternate with small roads with very little traffic.
L'Emprunt walking trail
This hike takes you along the route of the old railway line that used to run eastwards. Now disused and dismantled, the track is used as a hiking trail. Part of this walk also follows in the footsteps of the First World War in the Petit Morin valley.
The hillsides of Boitron
This route allows you to explore part of the Petit Morin valley between Boitron and Sablonnière via shaded paths and trails along the riverbank. The heritage of the Brie region is revealed through the villages and hamlets you pass through. "Mezons" or Briard houses built of millstone, with walls jointed with coarse plaster, mills, wash houses, but also through unspoilt and bountiful countryside.
Around the Marne from Nogent-l'Artaud
A bucolic walk between the Marne and the vineyards around Nogent-l'Artaud, visiting a few wash houses, some of which evoke La Fontaine's Fables.
Circular route between Nogent-l'Artaud and Pavant
A route that allows us to enjoy views of the first Champagne vineyards, walk along the Dhuis Aqueduct and pass by a deer farm.
Around the village of Le Vézier
A lovely little walk around the village of Le Vézier in the Marne. There are lovely views of the village nestled in the valley, as you’ll be walking at a higher elevation for much of the route. Well worth a visit – a pleasant walk.
The Jouy-sur-Morin tour
This route will allow you to explore the surroundings of Jouy-sur-Morin, pass through a few hamlets in the commune and walk along the Grand Morin river.
