Park near the Las Creces garden hotel. Walk up to the bend and turn left, following the GR® trail. Follow it to Las Creces. There is a table and chairs for picnics. Head towards Las Hayas and follow the path until you reach the way you came. Do not follow Las Hayas to the end, but take the pretty path on the right. Once on the road, turn right. And you're back.

This is an easy, shady hike in the Garajonay National Park.

From forest to beach, a pleasant way to discover the island of La Gomera.

The hike begins in the peaceful village of Chipude and leads through the small villages of Apartadero and Pavon to the foot of La Fortaleza, the sacred mountain of the Guanches.It is possible to climb to its summit (1,243 m). It is believed that the ancient inhabitants of the island cherished this mountain because of its unusual shape. It is a gift from the gods. In any case, on a clear day, it can be seen from the neighbouring island of La Palma!

We're discovering the wonderful landscapes of La Gomera, an island in the Canary archipelago 35km from Tenerife, which is unspoilt by tourism and a hiker's paradise. A fairly challenging route from the village of Arure to Taguluche, 800m below. The descent is steep, but the scenery is breathtaking. A very mineral landscape, then a final descent through tiered gardens to finish on the lava paths by the sea.

A very pretty, easy hike that begins with the village of El Guro, a very typical village with highly decorated houses.The path then climbs along the Barranco de Arrure to a small waterfall.

Hermigua is a village that stretches along the Monteforte barranco. Nestling in a ravine as far as the eye can see, it ends at Santa Catalina beach. Our hike will take us from Santa Catalina beach to La Caleta beach.

Depart from the beach car park. Pick up the GR®. Climb up to the Hotel del Jardín de Tecina (the one in Hait). Beautiful view of the beach and the valley. Turn right to walk along the golf course. Descend to the junction with the two GR symbols. Take the superb panoramic path that returns along the cliff. Of course, you can continue on to Tapahuga beach. Head towards the Fred Olsen building and turn left along the banana plantation. You are now back along the gulf.

A seaside trail that takes us from San Sebastian de la Gomera Beach to La Guancha Beach. The trail runs along the entire seafront, with beautiful views of San Sebastian as well as Tenerife and the Téïde Volcano, Spain's highest peak.

A short circular walk on the Teno Alto plateau, inspired by the "Teno Alto Self-Guided Trail" on the website www.tenerifeon.es. We start from the small plaza in the center of the village (plaza de Teno). The route begins on paths through pastures between farms where goats are raised and cheese made. The village is then reached by skirting a volcanic hill with caves. Beautiful views of the countryside, pastures, the sea, the Isle of Gomora and Teide. At the end, a final round-trip section with shaded sections offers a view of Punta del Teno. At the time of the walk (mid-November 2023), the Los Bailadreros bar was open in the village and connected to the square, where we were able to eat and drink. In fact, it's frequented by many hikers on much longer treks.

This round trip hike from the Mirador Altos de Baracan car park on the ridge will take you through the spectacular landscapes of Baracán via the Macizo de Teno ridge.

This short route allows you to enjoy this area with its magnificent scenery. The view stretches far into the distance, and the cliffs are impressive. A pleasant route that climbs steadily amidst prickly pears and other vegetation. Even in winter, it’s a pleasure to walk here, whilst being far from the crowds of tourists in Masca. There is the option to extend the walk further along this good path, for 1.5 km, to Cumbre Bolico. Personally, I was stopped in my tracks by the fog that rolled in at the end of the day.

A magnificent circular route within the Teno Rural Park, passing through the village of Teno Alto and continuing to the foot of the Baracán peak. The path crosses a forest of heather and laurel, unique to the Canary Islands due to its altitude and humidity. Before the junction with the road, a viewpoint offers a glimpse of the majestic Mount Teide. In Teno Alto, follow the signposts for La Mesita and Cumbre de Baracán. A beautiful descent along a rocky and very exposed path, with steep slopes on either side. I recommend doing this route in good weather. Completed in 3 hours 40 minutes.
