Playa de Santiago on the island of La Gomera
Depart from the beach car park. Pick up the GR®. Climb up to the Hotel del Jardín de Tecina (the one in Hait). Beautiful view of the beach and the valley. Turn right to walk along the golf course. Descend to the junction with the two GR symbols. Take the superb panoramic path that returns along the cliff. Of course, you can continue on to Tapahuga beach. Head towards the Fred Olsen building and turn left along the banana plantation. You are now back along the gulf.

Park near the Las Creces garden hotel. Walk up to the bend and turn left, following the GR® trail. Follow it to Las Creces. There is a table and chairs for picnics. Head towards Las Hayas and follow the path until you reach the way you came. Do not follow Las Hayas to the end, but take the pretty path on the right. Once on the road, turn right. And you're back.
