Park in the leisure centre car park at the entrance to Boug-Blanc after the D13 roundabout.
(S/E) Go around the left side of the leisure centre building to reach the lake, then turn right to start the tour in an anti-clockwise direction.
Follow the bank lined on the right by the Aber Bénouic stream, a tributary of the Aber Benoît. Ignore the passage at the end of the first pond on the left and the side footbridges leading to the inhabited areas and reach the northern end of the lake.
(1) Leave the edge of the lake (signposted Rando Abers No. 5) by taking a footbridge on the right over the Aber Bénouic, walk along an industrial area on your right and then a small marshy area. Cross a footbridge on the left and you will come to a small car park.Cross it to reach Rue Saint-Yves, which you follow to the left on the left-hand pavement. Look for another car park on your right (Place Chapalain, 80 spaces) and continue along the same street to Place de la Forge (information board).
(2) Turn left to cross this square and reach the lake after crossing the Aber Bénouic again on a small footbridge. Continue straight ahead to the southern end of the lake, ignoring all the side footbridges.
(3) Turn left to continue along the lake, with the stream now on your right. Continue until you reach a children's playground.
(4) Turn right towards a footbridge and follow the dirt track through a wooded area towards the road (this section is not accessible to people with reduced mobility).
Turn left before the road, then left again to reach the car park (S/E).
