Route des Vergers in Plabennec

Starting point at Espace Louis Coz - There is a car park on site and a large sign indicating the starting point. The rest of the route is marked in blue on wooden posts or existing supports.

(S/E) From the car park, take the path to the left of Espace Louis Coz. At the end, turn left and you will reach the François Le Gall orchard.

(1) Continue along the path. Then cross a car park and pass between buildings to reach Rue du Maréchal Leclerc. Follow this street to the left until you reach the Church of Saint-Ténéran. Turn right at the church. Leave the crossroads and continue straight ahead on Rue des Trois Frères Le Jeune. At the third crossroads (with Rue Coat An Abdad), turn left into this street and follow it to the Waltenhofen orchard.

(2) Make a slight left-right turn to cross the orchard. At the end, take Venelle de Barbill on the left. Cross a stream and turn immediately left. At the end, on Rue de l'Aber, make a first turn left then right to pick up a path. Go left at the first crossroads and you will reach a lake. Follow the path that runs along it on the right to the end.

(3) Go straight ahead towards the street. Turn left then right along the bus station. At the end, take the path on the right. Pass an intersection on the left, then another on the right and a final one on the left to reach the Scaven orchard.

(4) Turn left then right to pass under the D788 bridge. At the next street, turn left, then left again until you reach the roundabout. Take the path on the right. Continue straight ahead until you reach the end of Rue Hélène Boucher.

(5) Turn right onto this street, then left. Continue straight ahead at the various intersections until you reach Rue Georges Guynement. Turn right onto this street, then keep right on the cul-de-sac before continuing on the path leading to Verger de Kersené.

(6) Cross the orchard and turn right. When you reach Rue Yves Le Brix, go up this street on the left until the fifth street on the right (Rue Tristan Corbrière). Take this street, then keep right and go straight ahead on a path between the houses. Then turn 90° left towards Verger de Kerangall.

(7) After the orchard, turn left onto Rue Tanguy Malmanche. Pass one intersection and then take the second street on the left (Avenue Duchesse Anne). Take the first right, Rue Théodore Botrel. Continue along this street until you reach the car park (S/E).

At the Plabennec pond, there are many activities for the whole family to enjoy: there is a fishing pier, several sports facilities, orienteering courses, children's games, BBQs and soon a pump track.
