(3) Turn left and head downhill along the ridge. You will reach the edge of the wood opposite.
(4) Turn right towards Brachay, reach the Source du Pâtis, then the pumping station.

(6) Cross Brachay in a straight line, and continue along the path opposite. Cross the Blaiseron bridge, and continue to the edge of the forest.
(7) Turn right, at a 90° angle, to follow the edge of the Bois des Charmes, at a place called La Peute Côte. Reach the small village of Charmes-en-l'Angle via a mostly flat stretch.
(8) Walk past the private château and through the village along its single street. When you reach the wayside shrine, turn right and continue to Charmes-la-Grande via the Côte de la Fontaine au Suif path.
