Start in front of the town hall in Triembach-au-Val.
(S/E) Take Rue du Scheibenberg, with the town hall on your right and the pharmacy on your left. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Rue Saint-Gilles, then continue along Rue du Silberberg.
(1) At a bend, leave Rue du Silberberg between numbers 18 and 20 to take a path and leave the village (path parallel to the departmental road). Continue straight ahead.

Join a tarmac road and follow it to the left towards Le Sauloch. Further on, ignore two forest paths on the left.
(2) At the next crossroads with a wooden bench, take the path on the left towards Albéville (ignore the path on the right towards the memorial).
Continue straight ahead, following the markings until you reach the Albéville "holiday village". Head towards the football pitch.
Red Triangle Markings
Pass in front of the clubhouse and go around the football pitch on the left to reach a downhill path.
(3) Further down, turn right to pass in front of a chalet (leave the red triangle markings).
Turn left onto the path along the airstrip (Red Cross + markings)

(4) At the end of the runway, continue straight ahead (ignore the road leading down to Albé and ignore the path leading sharply to the left). You will then take the Albé heritage trail on the theme of mountain vineyards with information panels, following specific markings representing a wine press.
There are two successive three-way junctions: at the first, stay on the right-hand path and at the second, stay on the left-hand path.
At the top of the path, turn right and continue to follow the vineyard path.
(5) After an information panel with a view of the village of Albé, continue downhill for a few metres, then take the path veering sharply to the left. Pass the bend turning right towards the village.
Further on, stay on the main path, and after a fairly steep descent, turn left (blue disc signpost) to reach the village via Rue de la Fontaine (the sign is only at the bottom of the street).
Cross the main street and go up the opposite side, passing in front of the town hall and the museum.
No markings
Continue straight ahead, to the right of the church and cemetery. Ignore a path on the left, then turn immediately right.
Pass a stone bench, then turn left onto a concrete path.
Continue straight ahead uphill (ignore a path on the left, then one on the right, then another on the left).
The path turns right, then veer left above the vineyards to reach the Sohlkreuz Cross.
Red-white-red rectangular markings
(6) Before the cross, ignore the path on the right leading to Col de Bellevue + Hohwald with the same markings.
Continue for a few metres, then turn right (ignore another path continuing straight ahead)
Further on, turn left towards Villé (ignore the path marked with a red signpost towards Breitenbach).
At a three-way junction, keep left.
Further on, stay on the path (ignore the green disc marked trail towards Saint-Martin).
(7) At the next crossroads (elevation 408 on the IGN map), first turn left then right and stay on the marked path (ignore a path on the right, a path opposite and the new path descending to the left)
When you leave the forest, turn right and head downhill along the vineyards.
(8) After the vineyards, continue straight ahead for a few metres, then turn left to return to the forest.
Cross a road with an electrical transformer and continue downhill along a grassy path.
No markings
(9) Arrive in Villé (crossroads with the Caisse d'Épargne opposite).
Continue along Rue Louis Pasteur (D39 towards Bassemberg).
Cross the Giessen river and, at the Crédit Mutuel bank, turn right onto Rue du Veilleur, along the river.
Go down a narrow street (Wachter Gassel) and continue along a concrete wall decorated with coats of arms.
Pass in front of a lodge (blue building with wooden cladding) and go up the tarmac path to the school car park.
Cross the car park to the buses, then take Rue Beau Site.
Blue signpost
(10) Before reaching the departmental road, take an uphill street, then the path on the left that leads into the forest.
(11) At a crossroads, turn left downhill towards Villé. Arrive in Bassemberg via Rue des Vignes.
(12) First turn right then left to cross a footbridge, then cross the departmental road to take Rue Rutel opposite.
Cycle path
(13) Pass in front of the new town hall and take the cycle path that runs alongside the campsite, then the Giessen and an old weaving mill.
When you reach a road, first turn left then right to continue on the cycle path past the retirement home.
At the next road, first turn right then left and continue to follow the path along the Giessen.
(14) Turn left to pass in front of the fishing pond. When you reach Villé, turn right onto Rue de l'Abattoir.
Turn right onto a pontoon, then turn right again to reach Place de la Gare, passing in front of the sports shop.

(15) Take Rue du Soleil opposite. At the three-way junction, keep right towards Triembach.
(16) After a house with a curved roof, follow the path on the right that leads back to Triembach-au-Val via Rue des Guerriers. Walk down this street to the town hall (S/E).
