The start is located in the Savigny town hall car park, which is immediately on the left when arriving from Sain-Bel.
(S/E) Go up through the village along Rue Saint-André, pass the church and then, further up on the left, take Rue du Ressy. Leave the village via this small road, whose steep slope quickly takes you up to a higher level.
(1) After 400 m of climbing, take the first unpaved road on the left. Return to the road, turn right, then left at the three-way junction, which will take you to the hamlet of Deguenet.
(2) After a short descent and a left turn, the road suddenly becomes steeper. Further up, when you reach the hairpin bend, leave it and continue straight ahead along a grassy path.
(3). This pretty balcony path leads to Bel-Air and then to the D7.
(4) When you reach the departmental road, go up it for 50 m on the right and take the first path on the left that descends to the river. Cross the Trésoncle via the small footbridge, then go up opposite until you reach a crossroads.
(5) Turn left. The path takes you through the Bois Gonnay farm (goat farm) via the Chemin des Grandes Terres and then the Chemin de Lanay.
Continue straight ahead on this gently sloping road with pretty views (as far as the Saône valley on a clear day).
(6) When you reach a sharp right-hand bend, descend to Ronzière via the road on the left (Chemin de Ronzière). Further down, at the houses, take the dirt track on the right. After about 200 m, stop descending and take the right-hand path at the first crossroads.
(7). This path will take you back down to the village of Savigny.
(8) Immediately after the bridge, turn right at the roundabout onto Rue des Peupliers towards the stadium. Then take the first road on the left (Rue Benoit Maillard) and follow it. Enter the village via the abbey district (ruins). Follow Rue de l'Abbaye and turn right onto Rue principale (Rue Pierre Bost) to return to the town hall car park (S/E).
