Parking is available along the road from Signes to Solliès, crossing the Siou Blanc Plateau. Park near the cistern located at elevation 583 (not far from a high-voltage power line).
(S/E) Head south and follow the forest road (dirt road) with a fence on your right.
(1) Continue straight ahead and pass under the high-voltage power line. Descend the forest road (west-southwest) with a beautiful view of La Ciotat harbour in the distance. When the descent levels out, the vegetation changes to more kermes oak and pine trees.
(2) At an intersection (elevation 487), turn right. About 250 m further on, take the path on the left that leads into the scrub. You will soon reach the Abîme de Maramouyé, which is surrounded by a fence (the abyss is a good 20 metres deep).
(3) Continue on the other side of the abyss. After about 200 metres, you will reach a forest road. Turn right and follow it. Stay on the forest road, heading south-east. Pass a cistern on your left (elevation 450) and you will come to a second cistern on your right.
(4) Then take the path on the left. At the fork that appears immediately, keep left. Continue north-northeast to a crossroads (elevation 480).
(5) Continue on a forest path on the right for a round trip to Bastide la Barralière.
(6) Return along the same forest path.
(5) Once back, turn right. Follow the forest road uphill, which, after a right-hand bend, heads north-northeast. At times, the road resembles a single, very wide stone. Pass under a power line and then cross large cultivated clearings. You will reach a crossroads.
(7) Turn right onto a forest road. Ignore a turn-off on the right and continue to a crossroads that you passed at the very beginning of the hike.
(1) Follow the forest road on the right, lined with a wire fence, and return to the car park (S/E).
