Camboussel footpath

Hiking trail amongst the rocks and through the Agout Valley at Brassac in the Tarn, by Destination Sidobre & Vallées

A one-hour walk along the Agout with a superb viewpoint at the end after a lovely climb.

An ideal trail for strolling along the Brassac river and even right through it at times, thanks to the numerous rocks along the way. A little effort is required to reach the magnificent viewpoint over the Agout valley.
Not to be missed: the old bridge and the two castles of Brassac

Description of the walk

Start at the tennis courts and the Camboussel picnic area.

(S/E) Walk between the tennis courts and the swimming pool, then follow the river to the viewpoint. We recommend stopping here and walking round the rock to enjoy a better view of the valley.

(1) Turn back to return to the starting point (S/E).

a lovely little path that follows the river and ends with a climb to view the valley upstream.
