Park near the church
(S/E) From the church, head down the D622 to a cross and turn left into the forest up to Bousquet.
(1) Pass the farm, then head up to the right. In the Ramiès Forest, ignore several tracks branching off to the left until the path narrows. The trail turns left and joins a forest track.
(2) Follow it to the left until you reach a flat area at a junction.
(3) Take the hairpin bend to the left along the track and continue until you reach a bend in the track.
(4) Leave the track and turn left onto a path, continuing north-east until you come to a tarmac road.
(5) Continue straight on and follow the track that circles Puech Margot, keeping straight ahead. Views of the Monts de Lacaune, Mont Roucous and the Oulès bog below. Joina tarmac road.
(6) Head down the road to the right, then take the hairpin bend to the left (marsh below). Continue down to a junction towards the peatland of Saint-Julien.
(7) Head down the track, then cross a stream, before heading up to the left. Join a wide track, turn immediately right and head to the viewpoint (Croix de Saint-Julien).
(8) Return to the track at the peatland of Saint-Julien.
(7) Turn left. Go round the chapel and the old convent on the right before crossing the village.
(9) Turn left. Walk past the drinking troughs, then head up a path above the last buildings. Pass through a fenced-off area.
(10) Then continue straight on before turning right onto a path between two low walls. Cross a track and continue straight on before turning left onto a sunken path. When this splits, take the left-hand path. Further on, at the three-way junction, head down to the right until you reach the fork in the road.
(11) Continue downhill to join the D622 towards Biot. Turn right. At the stop sign, take the D622 to the left to return to the church (S/E).
