Starting point sign - Place Saint-Jean - Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church (Montredon-Labessonnié).
(S/E) Head towards the central crossroads, turn left, follow the yellow markings at the corner of Grand Rue and follow this road (D8) for 160 metres.
(1) Turn left onto the D59 (Route de Saint-Pierre de Trivisy) and continue for 600 m. At the crossroads, go straight ahead onto the dirt track.
(2) Follow the D59 for 80 m and take the left three-way junction: "le Sales, Roucayrols".
(3) Turn right ontothe GR® 36 for 5.9 km. The trail leads to Blaucau (church).
(4) At the Peyre Blanque crossroads, take the dirt track opposite, which passes under a power line and leads to a crossroads.
(5) Turn left at the crossroads and continue on theGR® which leads to the D69.
(6) Before reaching the hamlet of Plégadou, turn slightly left onto the road and follow it for 40 metres before continuing on the dirt track opposite towards the south-east, which continues as a road at a cross.
(7) Leave theGR® 36 at Blaucau and continue for 1.4 km to Granquié (stopover lodge).
(8) Before Granquié, turn right onto a dirt track that will take you through fields and forest to Blaucavet, where you will pass on the left side of the hamlet.
(9) From Blaucavet, descend the winding path into the Houlette valley for 1.6 km. At the bottom of the valley, the trail follows the left bank of the Houlette stream, then runs alongside the ruins of the Houlette mill, at the confluence of a stream coming from the east (right). From the mill to the footbridge upstream, follow the Houlette stream for 500 m, then cross the footbridge.
(10) The trail winds its way up past the ruins of La Recordié, then crosses Le Fustié, where the path is paved again. After about 860 m, you will reach the path near the hamlet of Les Collines.
(11) Take the tarmac road north-west (right towards Montredon-Labessonnié) to the Zoo des 3 Vallées.
(12) Follow the dirt track on the right alongside the zoo, leading to the village, and join Rue du 19 Mars 1962, then Chemin de Bézidelen.
(13) When you reach Avenue des Pyrénées (D89), turn right and head back towards the church until you reach Place Saint-Jean and Place du Foirail (car park) (S/E).
