Saas-Almagell - Gspon

(S) From the Hotel Monte Moro, head north to Kirchstrasse and join the Platzweg trail on the right, which then becomes the Zum Bergweg. Arrive at the last chalets in the village. Continue along this path, catch up with the trail coming from Furggstalden and reach a small bridge over the Leebach.
(1) Cross the Leebach, take the Almagellerhorn adventure trail, equipped with ladders, specially constructed passages and a suspension bridge, and return to the Almagelleralp hut.
(2) At Almagelleralp, head back in the opposite direction, towards the west, and climb a little higher to Heybord, directly above the village of Saas-Grund in the valley. Continue along an almost flat path to the Kreuzboden station.
(3) The destination of Gspon is well signposted. Walk along this balcony path to the Grüebe mountain pasture.
(4) Continue north-west and descend towards Linde Bode, where you will find a track coming from Saas-Balen.
(5) Stay on this balcony path and reach the small Obere Schwarz Wald mountain pasture.
(6) The signs are always clear. It is easy to return to Filinu and its small chapel.
(7) Continue along the Gsponer Höhenweg and arrive at the small hamlet of Ze Hiischnu
(8) Still following the clear signs, climb the final fairly steep slope to reach Gspon (E).
