From Saint-Vallier to Beausemblant via the Blacheronde plateau
From the banks of the Rhône, climb up to the Blacheronde plateau and follow a circular route via Combe de Laye and the village of Beausemblant. Beautiful views of the Pilat and Vercors mountains and the Rhône valley. You can take a final break in the park along the Galaure river.
Circular around the Sarras stream.
Short hike starting from Sarras, mainly on paths and trails through the Saint-Joseph vineyards and woods. Unofficial route and therefore not marked, so bring your GPS or the Visorando app.
Avoid during the grape harvest so as not to disturb the winegrowers.
Between the Cance and Ay rivers
Hike between the Cance and Ay valleys with beautiful views.
Loop in the Ay Valley starting from Sarras
On the outskirts of Sarras, the Ay river winds its way through a gorge that can be seen from certain points along the route, offering beautiful views of a unique landscape of cliffs and rocks.
Béaliaire trail and Grande circular via Riverand
Circular through the Ay valley along the river, passing through the vineyards on the plateau and then descending through the undergrowth on the Rhône valley side via the Chemin des Roches. Varied landscapes, pretty views of different valleys and very little tarmac.
Vallon d'Ardennes and the Tower of Arras in Arras-sur-Rhône
Hike near the Rhône, to the north of Ardèche. You will be surprised to find areas that are this "wild" so close to the Rhône Valley (Ardennes). At the end, the view of the Rhône and the Arras tower is a definite plus.
The Dancing Rocks
In a wood near Saint Barthélémy de Vals, these rocks form a group of 51 blocks arranged in three roughly concentric circles covering nearly 6 hectares, hence the name "Cromlech de la Roche qui danse" (Dancing Rock Cromlech). Legend has it that "at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, the rocks begin to dance".

From Érôme to the Croix de Romans
The route skirts the Rhône valley through valleys, streams and orchards. A very pleasant corner of the Drôme.
The ruins of Iserand Castle
Hike in the Mazèvieux valley north-east of Vion, which will take you past the ruins of Iserand Castle.
Chemin du Beurre and Balais mines
Complete hike with cairns and stream crossing.
Lac de Vert, tunnels and viaduct from Talencieux
Starting from Talencieux, the route passes by Lac de Vert, then the Midon tunnel and a short detour through the countryside before returning to the old railway line to cross the Thorrenc Viaduct, the Thorrenc Tunnel and the Thorrenson Viaduct. Don't forget a headlamp or other light for crossing the two tunnels.

Thorrenc, castle, tunnel and viaducts
Charming village with a beautiful castle (private), a large viaduct from an old railway line that ran from Firminy to Saint-Rambert d'Albon.
The two tunnels of Thorrenc and Lac de Vert
Set off to explore Thorrenc, a tiny picturesque village with a medieval feel, as well as the tunnel of an old regional railway line and, finally, the beautiful Lac de Vert!
Roche Péréandre route starting from Thorrenc
Hike in the Cance Valley. Crossing small bridges over the river, you will arrive at Roche Péréandre, which I am sure will amaze you if you have never seen it before.
Your adventurous spirit will lead you through the old railway tunnel and over the Thorrenc viaduct without hesitation.
Thorrenc Castle - Lac de Vert
This hike will test your sense of direction, because nothing looks more like a dirt track than another dirt track.
A varied route with beautiful views of the Ardèche and Loire (Loire 42) peaks from the Vernos plateau.
D'Albon au sud d'Anneyron
With beautiful views of the Rhône Valley and the plain to the north, this route follows part of the existing mountain bike trails. Grands Bois and Terre Noire in Vion
The hike is mainly in the woods, on pleasant paths. You will be in the shade in summer and sheltered from the north wind (Mistral) if it blows (frequent in the region).
Wild descent to Vion, with a few views of the Rhône valley. The last two kilometres are easy, on the plain, through the orchards of the Rhône valley.
The Bois de Suze
Walk under the oak trees of the Bois de Suze, near Claveyson.
A forest walk to be enjoyed in hot weather.
Le Creux du Renard
Parcours sans difficulté sur de petits sentiers tranquilles autour des villages de Larnage et Crozes-Hermitage. Passage près de l'ancienne carrière de kaolin encore exploitée il y a quelques années et abandonnée maintenant. Ce kaolin servait à la fabrication de porcelaine et les déchets étaient étalés sur les chemins de terre en guise de goudron.

Notre-Dame du Châtelet in Saint-Désirat
A short, easy walk overlooking Saint-Désirat and the Rhône valley, taking you to the statue of Notre-Dame du Châtelet and the truffle fields. From the paragliding launch site with its orientation table, there is a superb view of the Rhône. The descent is through vineyards and orchards.
From Vernosc-les-Annonay to Quintenas
This hike will take you on a journey through the Cance Valley. Along the way, you will discover the industrial past of this region, now surrounded by nature, including the old disused railway line, the Marc Seguin suspension bridge and the remains of the old spinning mills. You will pass by Roche Péréandre, which is an astonishing geological feature.

The Drôme hills offer rolling countryside landscapes against the backdrop of the Vercors and, when visibility is good, the peaks of the Alps can often be seen on the horizon.
These are beautiful walks all year round, best enjoyed when the days are short and snow is approaching the plains. The route has a modest elevation gain, making it accessible to most people. What's more, the fact that it is spread over two sections of the route makes it easier to complete
The Daronne Gorges
A beautiful hike entirely on paths in the Daronne Gorges. A pretty, very wild spot not far from Tournon and the Rhône Valley. A local must-see. What's more, this route is not the "classic" route and is therefore a little wilder...
From Château du Cros to La Châtaigneraie in Anneyron
A beautiful hike with stunning views of the Rhône Valley. This walking route is very pleasant in all seasons. In some places, it also offers an opportunity for mushroom pickers.

The Daronne Gorges, loop from Deyras
A lovely walk through the woods in Ardèche, near Saint-Félicien, with two descents into the Daronne gorges, following part of the nature trail through this natural site. You can visit the hamlet of Saint-Sorny. On the way back, there are beautiful views of the Alps, weather permitting.
