Description of the walk

Parking is available in the car park near Impasse du Bois in Gachon.

(S/E) Take the Chemin des Peléates. The road becomes a track after about 200 m. Ignore the first wide track on your left and carry on to the end.

(1) Take the track on your left. As this is not very visible, refer directly to the map. The track descends steadily before joining a road. On the road, turn left for a few metres until you reach a track on the left.

(2) Turn left onto this path, which runs along a ledge. The Limelande Stream is on your right, below you. Continue westwards until you reach a Fork in the road.

(3) Turn onto a slightly wider path on your left. Follow this path until you return to the starting point (S/E).

A walk that I combined with another walk, “From Éclassan to Pont Rouge”, as it was a bit short but very pleasant. On 19 January, I spotted the first primrose in bloom between Points 1 and 2.
And at Point 3, I took a slight detour along the path further to the west, which runs parallel to the main route.
