The walk starts from the village of Saint-Bonnet-le-Troncy.
(S/E) Head towards the church and the Colin Museum. Follow the "10" markings.
(1) Turn left at the hairpin bend, cross the Ronçon, then climb up the hillside, ignoring several paths on the left and right. Continue to the ridge where you join theGR®7at the Croix du Sud.
(2) Turn right and, after 100 metres, ignore a track that branches off to the left. Pass a weather radar station, then, after passing two paths on the right, you will reach an intersection at Côte Bourdon.
(3) Leave theGR® and turn right, descending towards Côte Verte and Barbery. Several paths branch off to the left and right. Ignore them and continue to another intersection.
(4) Turn right at a 90° angle, pass three paths on the right and arrive at a fork.
(5) Turn left at almost 180° to reach the D605.
(6) Cross over to take the path opposite. At the first fork, continue straight ahead. The path turns right at 90° and joins the Ronçon at Marchessy, where you cross the D94E. Head back up towards Lurcy.
(7) At the crossroads, turn right and leave the small road that leads to Ardiller. Continue to Souffle.
(8) At the cross, turn right onto the ridge towards Croix Coyard. On the left, you can see Saint-Vincent-de-Reins. Leave two paths on the left and continue to the Croix de Fer intersection.
(9) Turn right onto the D9 and 50 metres later, turn left to climb up to the hamlet of L'Allier.
(10) Turn right to descend to Saint-Bonnet-le-Troncy and return to the car park (S/E).
